Encina Reviews
The food and drinks were delicious!
Every bite is impeccable, elevated comfort. Service is unmatched; the absolute definition of hospitality. Everything here from the wine list to the cocktails to the lighting to the duck confit (an important aside - when this gem makes duck, lamb, or gnocchi, GET THOSE DISHES) is beautifully polished without pretension. We are so lucky to have Encina in Oak Cliff 💖
Great service and food...

Encina offers a pleasant dining experience with excellent service, though some reviews mention mixed experiences with staff. The restaurant is known for its value-packed happy hour cocktails and a varied menu. Standout dishes include the flavorful cornbread, pierogis, blue corn pancakes, and brunch burger. The pancakes and French toast bread pudding are especially praised, with guests noting the outstanding quality of these dishes. The fried catfish remains a consistent favorite among regular customers. The Dallas-based eatery provides ample parking and a cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for various occasions. It is recognized as a local neighborhood gem that cares about quality and consistency, with family-friendly options that kids enjoy, such as burgers and flatbread. The Garden Gimlet is highlighted as a refreshing brunch drink, further enhancing the experience. Recent visitors have praised the food, cocktails, and impeccable service, often mentioning how delicious and hot the dishes are, especially during brunch. Guests also appreciate the large portions, with many dishes suitable for sharing, like the bread pudding French toast and biscuits and gravy. The beautiful layout, decor, and well-designed patio add to the inviting atmosphere. The lively environment offers a fun experience, though some have noted that the noise level can be high, making conversation difficult. Overall, the restaurant remains a favorite for brunch and casual dining, with friendly staff and a variety of tasty options. Recent reviews highlight fabulous cocktails, seasonal apps and entrees, and dishes like the Devils on Horseback, Croquettes, Pork Jowl, braised short ribs, and steak frites, all praised for their quality. Guests also enjoy the friendly and helpful staff, and many look forward to returning for another enjoyable meal.
