I absolutely love Encina and it is one of my staples so when I joined on Thursday night for their $12 flatbread and half off wine night, I was excited to have a lovely meal. Our server let us know that the wines were half price so we ended up ordering two bottles only to find out after our meal that it was only wine that were available by the glass that were half price priced. Leading us to spend an additional hundred dollars that we were not planning on I really wish that our server would have communicated the promotion better because now this limit limits the financial opportunity to return quicker.
My wife and I are big fans of burger night! The burger is always juicy and delicious and paired with an also delicious martini.
Everyone in the reviews is talking about brunch… Let’s talk about DINNER. Went here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and it was PHENOMENAL. The food is so fresh, the menu is perfectly crafted, and everything we tried was phenomenal. Oh and the service was incredible - our waiter was so kind and stored away our birthday cake in the fridge and even sliced it for us when we were ready!
We enjoyed the cornbread (insanely moist and rich) and the charcuterie boards to start. I had the Steak Frites for dinner which was SO GOOD. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare, the fries were shoestring and so crispy, and the chimichurri tied added the perfect flavor to tie it all together. I will be returning!

Might possibly be the best brunch in Dallas. Food is absolutely phenomenal. Must try the pancakes. Everything was delicious and exceeded expectations. Worth the hype for sure. You should book a reservation.

Great good, great service, all around excellent experience! And on New Year's Eve, none the less.
We had a fantastic experience here for New Year's Eve. The food was simple but you could tell a lot of thought and care was put into each dish. Service didn't have a single error. I will 100% be back to this restaurant. Might be a new favorite for me.
Great dining experience with a very delicious steak and frites! Cornbread was delicious but not a fan of the two scoops on top, not too sure what they even were. Restaurants atmosphere was nice and cozy perfect for a lil date night or a relaxing evening with a quiet environment and phenomenal service! Drinks were spot on too so definitely plan your next night out here for sure!

Get the Pork Belly! Great atmosphere, quality ingredients, great service. We enjoyed everything!
Good. As. Hell.
Went for brunch, 11/10. They highly discourage modifications; which I respect. The food speaks for itself!!!!!!!!

First great experience! I ordered the Red Fish entree and left no breadcrumbs behind..literally!
Great food always! My duck confit was so tender and not greasy. Pancakes always on point! Only suggestion my friend and I had was our server could've been more attentive. She only came by once on her own to take order and we didn't see her again until she was requested for more coffee, water, and then bill.
Encina will always be our number one spot for a nice dinner. Every dish is incredible, the service is outstanding, and the level of care and attention to every aspect of your meal and time there is simply unmatched.
The food was okay, nothing special. We hoped to have a different experience, but this was like any other non-chain American restaurant. To my opinion, a Jack Allan's restaurant has better value and quality. So the higher prices are just not worth it. About 15 mins after our visit, I got cramps and spend the evening at the toilet. I think that must have been the catfish. The waitress was doing well so the tip was for her. But we're not coming back.
Place had amazing service. Our waitress was 100% the best thing about the place. Of the food the pierogi was the best. The tartare was very disappointing it was NOT beef tartare but some weird reimagining (pureed deviled egg? Preassembled?) .. don't mess with perfection. Tartare pictured.
When it came to entrees the steak frites was not hanger steak as it should be, appeared to be a cheap sirlion. Plus all the entrees came out room temp. Kitchen has serious pacing issues.
