Escondido TexMex Patio offers excellent Tex-Mex cuisine and great service, though some entrees are a bit pricey. The restaurant has a colorful and homey decor with a lovely patio for outdoor dining. The trio dip with cilantro ranch is a must-try, along with the crispy beef tacos and house frozen margaritas with added Grand Marnier. The staff, like Martin, are kind and helpful with suggestions for the menu. While there was a slight miscommunication on the Chile Relleno batter thickness, overall, the food is delicious. The patio, though facing cross-streets, is cozy with heaters available for cooler evenings.
