I didn't even like coffee, but a friend invited me to a frappé from this wonderful place and after trying it it became my addiction. It's delicious ?

Caters to all & all pocket books! This is my favorite place to get coffee and my vegan empanadas! Incredible service. The staff is absolutely wonderful and attentive! I get an iced caramel white mocha with oatmilk & cinnamon added! This tastes to much flavorful than the well known Seattle based coffee. The coffee here is smooth and roasted to perfection. Give this place a try I'm literally waiting for 9am to get here so I can get my coffee and breakfast!!!

Absolutely loved the beef and potato empanada! The texture was on point, the flavor was popping, the salsa was delicious (though honestly it didn’t need it). I would absolutely recommend!

I have enjoyed coming here, over the last 5 years. This was the 1st place the cappuccino tasted like it did when I was living in Italy. Service has always been great. I go to different coffee shops for the experience. I used to enjoy the experience here, but the atmosphere has changed. I had to ask for a plate for my empanda. It was put in a bag. I didn't get my biscotti that used to come with my cappuccino. It just wasn't the same here. It has been 6 to 9 months since I was last here. I know times change, and it seems your target customers has changed. It simply doesn't fit us anymore. I value the experience as well as the taste.Previously, all our drinks would have been in-house cups, but you see from the pictures. This didn't occur.

The service is not good, and the coffee even less so. They don't know how to handle milk temperatures or foam. They don't offer flat whites nor do they bother to have an alternative option. If you like specialty coffee, this is not the place.

Empanadas were delicious but the salsa was incredible, maybe the best in Bishop. Top notch customer service too.

Came in on a whim as we were exploring the Bishop Arts District and we’re going in and out of every store. We already ate so we got one beef and potato empanada to split and we were blown away. It was absolutely delicious and probably the best food both my fiancé and I have had since landing in Dallas earlier this week. We made it a point to buy the chicken and cheese empanada after we finished because we were so impressed. Also delicious. The ladies working were very sweet as well. Highly reccomend.

Wandered in and got great recommendations for food and drinks. The beef empanada was really good, but wow, the guava pastry was amazing! Flaky, tart and sweet and crackly melty sugar on top, yummy :)

Doesn't make sense why theres an excessive amount of flys in here. We asked an employee why and they said their boss doesn't allow them to close the door. So here's a message to the boss, either close the door or kill the flys. It looks unsanitary and makes me itch sitting here trying to enjoy my coffee without waving flys every 30 seconds. Seriously.

Espumoso Empanadas! This little communist themed coffee shop seems to be the place on Bishop to get coffee and empanadas! When I stopped in, I didn't realize it was the clerk outside having a cigarette that she jusst lit up... I went in, and she seemed annoyed right off having me in there. I got an empanada to go, which was pretty dang good. It was a light fluffy pastry around some picadillo ground beef, fried to perfection. The empanadas are pre-made, and kept hot in a special heated box. They offered a wide variety of coffees, but I declined. The decor seemed to be locally themed art, with neat and interesting stuff. I thought the place was cool and had good music, so I jammed out on the patio with my empanada instead of taking it to go. The clerk got back to her smoke, so everything worked out.
