2nd visit from an initial visit after they first opened. Quite Frankly?, I was very hungry as I only eat once a day (4:00pm-ish) & it was "that time. Bay34th Street was too far of a drive over to (Midway & Alpha) on my way out of Richardson to back home downtown Dallas, so I thought to give "FAMOUS FAMIGLIA" a 2nd. Go-of-it. Maybe I'm just too used to authentic Chicago (where I attended university), Boston (where I worked after graduating university), & NYC (where I would visit on the weekends) pizzaria's. Crust was....well? Not crusty at all, damp, limp, & droopy. I guess the ovens were either turned down low or not even on. Cheese?? Was meh, The Tomato sauce was bland & too sweet (as in canned sugar-sweetened because the tomatoes were leftovers unripened variety sauce) & not the least bit seasoned with any Italian herb seasoning or even garlic powder - yuck!!.. At least a packet of Powdered Ranch Dressing as Seasoning would really add some pizzazz... The pictures all over the walls tell the real story: The owner is more concerned with "celebrity" than anything else - certainly NOT with properly done pizza. Service at the 1st visit was engaging & excited...but then again? They were "newly opened". 2nd. Visit? Indifferent & detached, as if they didn't really want to be there - Indifferently quiet quitting of a sorts - probably a psychology major at SMU...& NOT the Jordan Peterson type either. I'll not be back. The only reason I didn't give it 1-star is because that's just too cruel - It's really really hard to get a 1-star review out of me. If I had closed my eyes & done a side-by-side comparison with Domino's? I think Domino's would win unfortunately.

Got a cheese slice and it was delicious! Guy at counter was great too. He gave us a garlic knot sample and those were really good.

As a REAL New Yorker, (born, raised, and lived there my whole life until I moved to TX 13 yrs ago), I can vouch for this restaurant. It is legit! This pizza is the only one I will spend my money on here in TX. All the other places pale in comparison. This is definitely better than those chain restaurant pizzas. I don't even call what they make pizza. I'm a real pizza snob. I grew up in the Bronx, eating pizza in the Little Italy section. I also ate pizza in Naples, Italy.....three times. So, this restaurant has a location in Manhattan on Madison Ave. That was my favorite place to eat pizza during my lunch break when I worked at Mt. Sinai hospital over 20 yrs ago. This restaurant is identical to the one in Manhattan. Need I say more?

Better than the New York Pizza that we got in New York. Best we've had in years. Right amount of sauce, not too dry, and good quality ingredients. Tried stromboli and garlic knots for the first time and they were really good.

Excellent New York style pizza. Dining area small, but very well kept. Food is prepared while you wait, but is made faster than I expected.

Stopped in for the Stromboli for a quick lunch. The Stromboli was simple cheese and pepperoni felt like an Italian panini which was perfect. The Mariana dipping sauce was warm and very flavorful certainly authentic. I can’t wait to try the garlic knots next visit. Great food and a great value under $10 easily.

Love this little spot. Super convenient (especially to Medical City Hospital) and can order pizza by the slice - keep in mind, slices are existing already cooked pizza rewarmed in a pizza oven with whatever addl toppings. Serves the purpose and still tastes good, but gotta eat it quickly, before it cools... again lol
Went at 11am on Saturday right when they opened. Great spot and great service! Hard to find a good pizza by the slide is the Dallas area.

DO NOT GO IF YOU ARE DISABLED OR AUTISTIC!!! First, we like the pizza. It is why we have visited so many times; however, this last visit I took my 27 year old medically disabled autistic daughter and service dog with me. She had been asking to go, since I had always brought the pizza home to her. The person in charge that day first questioned her about her service dog, which is acceptable, but not in the unkind way in which he did so. The music was loud, which the other employee was nice enough to turn down. But after we ordered pizza, received it, and were eating, I glanced back and saw this person in charge waving his hands and shaking his head and doing the circle with his finger at his head that indicates the "crazy" or Loco sign, and then he pointed toward us and whistled the cuckoo whistle. I was so shocked, and angry I was stunned. After pondering how to handle this, I approached him and in a low voice let him know I saw him and how offended and disgusted I was by his behavior, and lack of respect for those that are different and have challenges with daily life. His message was clear...he did not want us there and that vibe was felt from the beginning. His actions caused great sadness and insecurity for my daughter. After we left, she asked me if that is how everyone sees her. Noone should be made to feel less than. We have never had this experience anywhere we have gone and how disheartening to know such bias still exists.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza is good
Ableist staff member. Don't go if you want to be judged or made fun of. Lack of social awareness and manners.Maybe could redeem themselves by firing said staff.
