Great as always. Couple of our items were not as hot as we would have liked, but a wonderful evening was had!

I was disappointed in the room we sat in by the kitchen because I have sat in prettier areas before and also it was surprising how valet was $15 plus tip after already spending a lot on the meal. It should be complimentary like Al Biernats or Mr. Charles that I visited recently.

Wonderful food and excellent staff. Upon arriving, the hostess asked if they could accommodate for any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions I may have which I knew right then and there I would frequent here quite often. Very pleased with the experience.

It's a bit of a given that when you dine at Fearings the food will be great and the service will always stand up to the quality of the cuisine. Gotta tell anybody that reads this, that was certainly the case last night when a buddy of mine and I had dinner at Dean's restaurant. The above and beyond came from Martin and Lupita who were charged with looking after our table. Very friendly and genuine these 2 were. They truly exemplified the concept of "warm and friendly" service. Kudo's to those 2 fine folks and the folks who worked their culinary magic in the kitchen.

Our impromptu night at Fearing's turned into a truly memorable experience from the very beginning. We were welcomed by the host, who was an absolute gem; sweet, funny, and genuinely considerate, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The amuse-bouche was mouthwatering and offered a delightful preview of what was to come. The foie gras and brûléed pairing was a thing of beauty: the richness of the foie gras balanced effortlessly with the lightness of the brûlée, melting on the tongue in a perfect symphony of textures. The sharp citrus notes of the cranberry mojo cut through the richness beautifully, elevating every bite. My boyfriend's steak was phenomenal; cooked to a perfect medium rare and so tender it practically melted in your mouth. While my duck was slightly overdone, it was still flavorful and enjoyable. And the Old Fashioneds? My boyfriend continued to rave about them for the rest of the evening. Overall, it was a meal we won't soon forget and one we would happily return to experience again.

Went to Fearing's to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant and server, Alban, had gone out of their way to make the occasion memorable: personalized the menu with friend's name and "Happy Birthday," and had ordered a chocolate cake to be brought to my friend. When my friend had an emergency and couldn't make it to lunch, the restaurant offered to comp the tea I'd ordered and brought the cake for me to take to my friend. I delivered the cake to my friend, who is okay, but I will never forget the concern and service demonstrated by this incredible staff's service in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dallas. Plan to return to Fearing's soon!

Outstanding marks all around. This was for breakfast and everything was spot-on delicious and as usual our servers engaged with us and were knowledgeable.

Wonderful brunch at Fearing's Highlights: biscuits, bread, fried chicken, Wagu burger, pancakes, tortilla soup, and steak all delicious. The waitstaff was great. Coffee and cocktails delish.

We dined here to celebrate my wife's birthday with a party originally planned for 12, ultimately seating 8–9 guests. From the start, the experience showed real promise. The staff was accommodating, allowed us to bring balloons, and provided a private room, which set a positive tone for the evening. Our waiter was excellent—attentive, warm, and genuinely contributed to the celebration. The food was very good, and the overall ambiance is clearly designed to impress. Unfortunately, a recurring issue significantly diminished the experience. During our time in the private room, the wine manager entered multiple times unannounced, without acknowledgment or engagement. The behavior came across as distant and dismissive, which felt inappropriate given the private setting. I respectfully raised the concern with another staff member—not confrontationally, simply to note that acknowledgment and courtesy matter, especially in a private dining space. While I cannot definitively state intent, the demeanor and repeated lack of basic courtesy raised concerns that were difficult to ignore and, regrettably, felt racially charged. When a guest feels mistreated, it affects everything—the food, the atmosphere, and the overall enjoyment—particularly at this price point. I understand this restaurant was under consideration for Michelin recognition in 2025. Based on this experience, I can also understand why it may not have received that distinction. Excellence requires consistency at every level, and one poor interaction can overshadow an otherwise strong offering. There is real potential here, and much of what we experienced was excellent. However, attention to guest dignity and professionalism—across all staff—is essential.

It has been three years since we have dined at Fearing's and had such fond memories of a ‘wow' experience. Not quite the same. Service was kind but slow and not attentive. Food was good but not a ‘wow' factor. We enjoyed the evening but did not live up to what we remembered.

Overall, I was disappointed in the experience. The sandwiches, scones and desserts are not as custom as one would expect from a well renowned chef and connection to the Ritz Hotel. The dining room is “tired” and has an odor, a sour wet smell of an old bar. The china was beautiful for the tea - it would have been nice to have been offered to try another tea while there.

Overpriced for food quality considerong is in the ritz carlton. Waiters were very good though

I would not recommend this place. We booked a tea reservation for four people, but when we arrived, the staff seated us in the regular dining room instead. When I explained that we had booked the tea experience, the hostess responded in a noticeably passive-aggressive manner and said, “No sweetie, you didn’t.”
I pulled up my confirmation online, clearly showing that the tea experience was booked. After seeing it, the best they offered was to seat us nearly two hours later—despite our confirmed reservation for the tea room. There was no apology, no compensation, not even a complimentary drink.

Unfortunately, we weren’t the only ones. Two other couples ran into the exact same issue while we were there. So if you’re thinking about coming here, just know you might get treated like you’re the problem—even when you have the receipts to prove otherwise—and then be told you can wait around for two hours if you really want what you reserved. It threw off our whole day, and honestly, the attitude was the cherry on top of an already frustrating experience. They also promised to make the bride feel special, yet did NOTHING to accommodate her??

Had super salty salad. Bones in my fish. But the service and attention to details was great. Had been here before and it was the best and returned to be disappointed by the food. A shame. Won't be coming back
