“yesterday I came with my family to eat here. we just moved across the street. the whole lake highland area has a lot of great spots, but I do believe that Fish City Grill will be our favorite, the drinks were so great. some of the best drinks I’ve had in a very long time. The food was fresh and hot and the atmosphere was amazing, I think there was a kids event going on because it was lots of children everywhere but we had fun seeing them have fun. But one person TOPPED EVERYTHING, our waiter Nievells, his entire personality was everything, I wish I could’ve put him in my purse and took him home. we have adopted him as our new son. He was fast, kind, super funny, and just made us not want to leave, we came in around 5 and didn’t leave until 7:30 because he just was so loving. He took Better care of me than my own husband. (I hope he never sees this review ?) but he said he was new and but it seem like he’s been working there for years. Ive been having a tough time moving here this week from ohio and I needed this experience, thank you so much Nievells for everything my family and I will be back to see you! I hope he sees this to know he is doing a great job.“

“The fish had more flavor when the prices were lower. I do understand COVID Seriously affected Everyone and Every family own business, BUT please season the fish if I'm paying $$ for a few pieces of catfish steaks. Fry perfectly 👌 not mad just missing the flavor that hooked us.
But, as much fish as my husband likes, I will have to either learn how to fish or buy fresh & fry it.
God forbid if I had small kids today. Lord, bless families with small mouths to feed, making minimal wages.. While folks with decent pay complain about being underpaid. Just imagine having kids making anything under $20hr. TODAY!!

“Food was great, probably one of the best scotch eggs I’ve ever had and the Irish Mac n cheese was creamy, not grainy, and the peas actually were amazing in it: Would highly recommend. Service was slow and rather inattentive, and it wasn’t busy, 2-3 servers and 5 tables were occupied 🤷🏼‍♀️“

“Best Catfish in North Dallas !!! Hands down everything on there menu is good and nicely prepared but the catfish is my favorite !! The staff is always nice, friendly, and in good sprit !! Everything is cook to order so the food is ALWAYS hot and fresh ! I give them a 10/10 on the service and food 👍🏾“
