Want to start off by saying that the food here is great. With that being said I placed an order for take out thinking salmon wouldn’t take too long and was told it would be about 10 minutes. 35 minutes later I get my food with no explanation as to why, and no apologies. Saw people after me sit, eat, and then go on about their day. I have only a certain amount of time during my lunch break which makes this worse.
Foods great, service not so much.

My first visit, it was an aaahhhmazing experience. Danny was super helpful in guiding us through the taste and flavours of the menu, even offering us samples. Danny the manager kept checking in with us to make sure we were pleased. Natalie, Ray, Laurin and Jahie were all super awesome (yes, I got their names ?because I wanted to make sure I let them know how much we appreciated their services).
Now onto the food, one word SUPERD!!!! We were so happy to find a place where a vegan, vegetarian and meat-eater can all dine where everyone came away ranting and raving. I mostly appreciated the fusion of flavours.
Next time I am in Dallas, this is my place to dine!!!

The menu options are creative,staff nice, restaurant atmosphere good… but every time I’d eat at Flower Child, i would get slightly stomach sick and not feel well right after. It’s because they use seed oils in just about everything, Rapeseed oil. Very inflammatory . They suggest they’re a healthy chain, not so sure about that one though. Check the ingredients of items on their menu and decide for yourself. I would suggest to the restaurant that they nix the seed oils. There are plenty of other options, though slightly costlier.

Ever since I visited this spot for the first time with my family, we can't stop going! Very nice place for lady's brunch, photography, and health! What more could you ask for?!
I’ve been 3-4 times to the downtown Flower Child now and it’s been great each time! I love their menu options and almost never have gotten the same thing. Every thing I’ve ordered has been fast and tastes great! This spot is spacious with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating and friendly staff. Overall, if you’re looking for a maybe more healthy, home cooked style meal this is a great spot.

Flower Child is nice! I recommend the Glow Bowl. The sweet potato noodles are nourishing. Kombucha on tap is pretty nice. The atmosphere is pretty chill, still pretty busy on a Monday lunchtime but good enough to come alone or with a group and lots of bright light and plants. Music is pretty good. Free wifi password FLOWERCHILD - you can work from here. Indoor and outdoor seating. Air conditioned.
Areas for improvement would be for the water cups to be reusable - right now they’re unrecyclable hot drink cups which is unnecessary for dine in. The music could be turned down. Could be more vegan proteins and for them to promote the plant based options more to encourage plant based products for health, the environment, and animals.
Vegetarian options: I’d recommend the vegan options.
