I normally don’t give reviews. I haven’t visited Fluellens in years. I was a faithful customer. The last two times I’ve purchased cupcakes they both were dry. One night, this lady sold me a wedding CC with whipped cream. I was shocked. Today I tried again after a couple of years. The service was dry and so was the wedding cake CC. This will be my last time buying CC. Wasted money! 😡

Ordered these to be delivered. Overall, way too sweet — need less sugar and more real ingredients where their flavors can be brought out.
Banana Pudding cupcake clearly used artificial banana flavoring. Strawberry had WAY too much sugar. Snickers was just a white cupcake with white frosting and some topping — missed opportunity here. Wedding cake normally is supposed to have an almond flavor, but if you’re going to do vanilla, do REAL vanilla bean frosting.
Textures of the cakes were good overall, however. Will try again in a few months.

I actually didn't look at the reviews before walking in and thought I was going crazy for thinking the cupcakes were dry. They were very kind and offered me a new cupcake with no hesitation. Unfortunately, that cupcake was dry as well.
While the presentation is perfect, neither the flavor nor quality was worth the price paid.

Very mid cupcakes , edible but barely. It was dry and had a soapy taste to it something. Don’t feel it’s worth $6, glad I got one . Wouldn’t come back but the place was cute and so was the cupcake

Stopped here after dinner craving something sweet. I ended up getting the wedding cupcake. The cake was very moist and the frosting was perfectly sweet and creamy. Definitely worth it to try out if you love sweet treats!

Service and quality has drastically changed over the years. The Cupcakes just aren't fresh anymore. It seems like maybe they are storing them in a manner that dries them out... not sure but I've been a patron for 12 years and the last 2 years , the Cupcakes have been dry or not as fresh and this is eating them same day purchased. Very disappointing.

Yesterday was my birthday as I was celebrating in downtown Dallas.we stumbled across this cute little bakery. It was completely empty on a Friday afternoon. Upon walking in the only employee in this location or what seemed like the only employee was in the refrigerator area and not behind the register which is weird but not uncommon. I proceeded to ask her what were her favorite cupcakes should be indication to her Im possibly a new customer. I purchased two cupcakes the banana pudding one and the carrot cake. I don't know if it makes a difference what time of day you order as I'm a new customer. Both cupcakes were extremely hard both cupcakes needed some type of moistness to them especially the banana pudding one. The flavor is there however the freshness wasnt $6 a cupcake my total was $12 and the customer service was poor. My opinion when you're entering a bakery it's usually because you're celebrating something, someone or yourself. The birthday Vibes were not met. And the taste of these cupcakes weren't either.
We ordered 3 types of cupcakes, they look fantastic and taste pretty bad. Get from target or Walmart instead.

If I can give it a 0 star I would! I’ve been coming here once a week. And for the past month I’ve been very disappointed. What happened to strawberry? They’re short now, and very dry. Wedding is dry,too, banana is raw and falling apart. Too much icing as well! Not sure if you changed bakers, but bring the OG bakers back!! I won’t be back to this place for a long time!!

This place is absolutely amazing! I needed an assortment of 40 cupcakes at the last minute for a corporate event, NDEAM. I contacted them via email on Sunday evening and received a reply, directly from the owner, Sunday evening! I was in awe. The cupcakes were delivered on time and delicious! Did I mention how big the cupcakes are?! This is my new favorite sweet treat spot.
