Yesterday was my birthday as I was celebrating in downtown Dallas.we stumbled across this cute little bakery. It was completely empty on a Friday afternoon. Upon walking in the only employee in this location or what seemed like the only employee was in the refrigerator area and not behind the register which is weird but not uncommon. I proceeded to ask her what were her favorite cupcakes should be indication to her Im possibly a new customer. I purchased two cupcakes the banana pudding one and the carrot cake. I don't know if it makes a difference what time of day you order as I'm a new customer. Both cupcakes were extremely hard both cupcakes needed some type of moistness to them especially the banana pudding one. The flavor is there however the freshness wasnt $6 a cupcake my total was $12 and the customer service was poor. My opinion when you're entering a bakery it's usually because you're celebrating something, someone or yourself. The birthday Vibes were not met. And the taste of these cupcakes weren't either.

If I can give it a 0 star I would! I’ve been coming here once a week. And for the past month I’ve been very disappointed. What happened to strawberry? They’re short now, and very dry. Wedding is dry,too, banana is raw and falling apart. Too much icing as well! Not sure if you changed bakers, but bring the OG bakers back!! I won’t be back to this place for a long time!!

This place is absolutely amazing! I needed an assortment of 40 cupcakes at the last minute for a corporate event, NDEAM. I contacted them via email on Sunday evening and received a reply, directly from the owner, Sunday evening! I was in awe. The cupcakes were delivered on time and delicious! Did I mention how big the cupcakes are?! This is my new favorite sweet treat spot.

My order was the carrot cake, strawberry cake, and wedding cake. The Carrot cake had large nuts and chopped nuts. It was very over powering and I couldn’t enjoy the cupcake itself. It was the only cupcake that was moist and had great flavor. The Strawberry and Wedding Cake are not moist at all. I have been here before in the past, many years ago. It’s a hit or miss type of thing for me. I spent almost $20 for 3 cupcakes. Really bad they no website to order so you have to park on the street or find a garage downtown elm.

We went here to get cupcakes for our wedding. We went in and sampled $40 worth of different cupcakes and LOVED THEM. However, a couple months out from the wedding we called to verify everything and found they had LOST OUR ORDER that we had prepaid for. After lots of phone calls and verifications, we found the invoice and recreated the order. We called twice more leading to the wedding to verify the order, the delivery location and time. At the day of our wedding at the reception we anticipated the cupcakes to be there by 1. When they didn’t arrive we were told the cupcakes would be there by “the end of the hour (2pm)”. They didn’t come at 2. After 3 more phone calls and 30 minutes later they came with repeated assurances he was “down the road”. By the time they came we already had quite a few guests leave. We almost missed opportunities to take the photo of feeding cupcakes to each other.
What did the manager do to fix this? $75 refund. The manager didn’t even take time from their day to apologize themselves for severely impacting our reception with family and friends. The insult they produced by being late was overshadowed by the pennies they offered as an “apology”. We have spend over $400 and the best we got was “we’re sorry” and $75. Terrible business to work with and I would avoid this chain for any important function.

This was my first time trying these with my husband. I got the wedding cake flavor, the icing tasted spoiled and extremely sour. I’ve been baking for years, and I’ve never tasted sour icing that badly before. The cake was extremely dense as if they were old and dried out. I wouldn’t recommend spending $6 on these.
