I stopped by Forest Donuts this morning and had such a great experience! I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant and it was absolutely delicious! Probably the best one I’ve had so far. The lady who helped me was so kind and welcoming, which made my visit even better. The shop itself is so cute, and I love that they have tables to sit and enjoy your food (unlike most donut shops that are mainly to-go) I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice little neighborhood donut shop that makes fresh donuts daily. Friendly service with a few good options to choose from and sometimes has some daily special breakfast items. Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area.

I ate a few bites of a Jalapeño kolache and a sausage egg croissant. This was the only thing I ate yesterday and ended up feeling horrible. I slept on my bathroom floor as the food poisoning affected me in every way. The lady was nice. She even gave me a free donut. Glad I didn't eat it.

This is a great little local donut shop! The two ladies I've seen working here are very kind, and one of them has given me a couple-to-an-entire-bag-full of free donut holes each time. What a sweetheart. Their cronut is so light and delicate and their donuts too. Very typical flavors, nothing crazy, but well done :) I like the flavor and consistency of their dough.

$21 for a dozen mixed donuts is INSANE. Way too expensive.

In a world full of mediocre pastries, it is no small joy to stumble upon a donut shop that understands the fulfillment and pleasure that comes from getting things right. This small, unassuming establishment, a small tabernacle of sugar, offers not merely donuts, but culinary evidence that common grace is still operative in our generation.
The donuts? Perfectly shaped, formed with steady hands, care and an eye for symmetry. These are not the half-hearted, slumped-over excuses for fried dough that too often pass for pastries. No, these are as aesthetically sound as they are tasty, and that’s saying something. One of the pink frosted donuts looked like it came straight from a Simpson’s episode. The flavor, especially of the chocolate variety (which is often abused and misused in other shops), was rich, well-balanced, and entirely devoid of that plastic aftertaste that afflicts the chocolate.
But, then there’s the matter of timing. We obtained our donuts at 5:30am, and they were still warm.
The coffee deserves its own paragraph. It was not poured from some reheated trough of bitterness, nor did it taste like it had been filtering through the resentment of those who lived during the Nixon administration. No. Here, the beans were ground fresh, an act which, to my knowledge, I have not seen at other little donut shops. I watched the grinder spin and thought, “There is hope yet for Western civilization.”
As for the cost: for two cups of this sacred brew, one chocolate donut, and a dozen humble-yet-glorious donut holes, the total was a mere $10. A pittance. A tithe to joy.

The donuts were very fresh and tasty. The lady serving wasn’t super friendly, but it WAS very early in the morning, so I can understand.
I bought four SMALL beef kolaches no cheese plain kolaches, 2 bottles of water NOT a Iced DRINK and a bag of donut holes was almost $20 too damn expensive 😂 I usually pay about $12-$13 in Plano... It was to expensive!!! And after reading several other reviews I see I am not the only one it is very expensive here... 2 years ago somebody else posted a review and she said the exact same thing supplies have went up... Same thing she told me today but any other donut shop has pretty decent prices and I'm in Plano I was just visiting the hospital today and thought I'd stop in..
Closed when they say they are open
