I’m a fan of fortune house but I ordered the garlic honey pork thing yesterday when I went and there was barely any meat in the dish. It just tasted like fried skin covered in honey garlic sauce. I couldn’t even finish my meal cause my stomach instantly hurt from eating fried skin. Still paid for the meal and didn’t want to take the food back ( cause I’m not that person ). My friends food was delicious. So anybody reading this, don’t get that dish.

THIS PLACE IS A VIBE! We love coming to fortune house for dinner. Isaiah is so so kind and so attentive!I’m 8 months pregnant and have some of the weirdest cravings and they manage to accommodate all of my requests. (I.e Crispier eggplant in the spicy eggplant, chicken dumplings instead of wontons- we don’t eat pork) We’ve been here 3 times in the last week to get my pregnancy fix, it is that good!The spicy eggplant and spicy wontons/dumplings are immaculate!

Very nice evening out. I went there with my lady. When we arrived, we were told there was a 30 minute wait, which we agreed to. We left to walk around. Less than 10 mins later, we received a notification that our table was ready. We returned and were escorted to our table, which was missing 1 chair and didn’t have any beverage glasses. The hostess had to pull a chair from a vacant table as well as glasses. (not really a big deal to me). Server was pretty good. She got our prospers correct and the food arrived within a reasonable time frame. Food was really good (Soup dumplings and sesame chicken). We also ordered shrimp fried rice, but it wasn’t as tasty as the other food. Our server never refilled our drinks, which was a disappointment. The atmosphere wasn’t too appealing to me because it was noisy, and I was struggling to hear/understand my lady at various times during conversation. The waitress did provide me with a soda-to-go when I requested it. Menu prices seemed appropriate.

I rarely leave reviews. Honestly fortune house has the best Chinese food in Dallas. However, they have the worst customer service. They are just simply rude and slow. They never ever ever answer the phone, and when you walk in no one is there half the time. I just put a to go orde in and it took 1 hour, I waited at fortune house for 30 minutes. Just crazy how bad the service is. There’s a reason they have so many bad reviews…

The food is so delicious! Best wonton soup I’ve EVER had. The chicken was perfectly cooked for my entree. Highly recommend this spot! Service was kind of slow but he was really nice.Parking: Parked in a free lot behind the building.

Very disappointed of this place, I will go after work sit in the bar but I had went with my sister and just because she wasn’t going to consume alcohol told us to not sit in the bar
My husband, son, and I tried Fortune House 3/28//24 for the first ever. I must say, the food was great, Carlos was amazing at serving us, and the atmosphere is too cute to forget. It was so good that my son and I went back the next day for round 2. Spending over $50 each time we came. With food this good, who cares about price! I know we don’t.

This place is mediocre at best. It is not a must have and I could definitely go without ever entering this establishment ever again in my life. Upon arrival, sitting at the bar seemed like it would’ve been a good idea. However, there was a man and his dog at the bar. The dog was literally sitting in a seat at the bar as if it were a human.I would’ve ordered the whole fried fish. However, I was told that it wasn’t even available and that you have to come and request it a few days in advance. Then why, may I ask is it even on the menu?Additionally, the “shrimp dumplings” actually have pork in them. The edamame tasted really strange and it was cold. The fried rice was edible. Kinda hard to mess that up.It probably wouldn’t hurt to look into investing in some laminated, wipeable menus. The ones we were given were filthy. The hype is simply in the location, that’s about it.

Ordered the house fried rice, sample soup dumplings, sautéed broccoli, sesame chicken, and white rice everything was ? amazing. Stops serving food at 11pm and stays open until 12am.
