I visited The French Quarters in Richardson for the first time and had a wonder experience. The ambiance, customer service and food was definitely top tier. This restaurant accommodate one of my really close friends large birthday parties. The plating was nicely done, good music, friendly staff. I had a French 75 and my cocktail was made to perfection. The owner is a black man who is really personable! My favorite dish was the soul food egg rolls with the dipping sauce. I would definitely be back looking forward to trying some other dishes.
French Quarter is very beautiful inside and the food is tasty, pricey, yet tasty and I do not mind paying for GOOD FOOD. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant but the music can be too loud and sometimes vulgar. That's a turn-off! I have been twice and look forward to going back. However, on a Sunday I would love to just enjoy a nice groove and environment without the nightclub music blasting while I brunch with my mature social groups who have to scream over the music to converse....
