Best gelato in Dallas! Now where else can I find gelato as authentic as this. They have tons of flavors and you can sample them. The area is also pretty if you'd like to walk by the fountains.

We came to try their gelato & order a birthday cake. The gelato was delicious, no doubt about that. When we inquired about the cake, the lady said they ran out of the order form & took notes on a notepad instead. Ok, no big deal. The cake ordering process was a bit confusing. They did not have any pictures to show what they are capable of making, what kind of topping, etc. If it wasn't for some previous cake orders already made in their freezer, we would have absolutely no idea what we were ordering. This should have been our red flag, but we ended up ordering a round shaped cake (feed 8-10 I think?). It was $60. We ordered one week before the event date. One day before our scheduled pick up day, my husband got a phone call. They informed him that they didn't know where their big round shape gelato mold was. They then gave us 4 options: 1) We could get a teardrop shape in the same size. 2) They have a bigger round shape - BUT we have to pay an extra $10. 3) Go with a smaller round shape & they will return the money difference. Or 4) Cancel the order. We chose to cancel the order. These are our reasons: 1. We gave them a ONE WEEK lead time. That is enough time to try to get a new mold. But they didn't check their orders until 24 hours before & by then it was too late. 2. Yes, we could still go on with our order but we really don't like the teardrop shape. 3. We don't want to serve a smaller size cake, nor were we willing to fork out an extra $10 for an already expensive cake. 4. This leaves us with no other choice than to cancel. Honestly, I was really surprised THEY suggested this option on the first place. Please know that I don't use this platform to get myself freebies, but wouldn't most business owners own up to their mistake & try to comp a bigger cake instead of suggesting to a customer to cancel their order? Yes you would lose $10, but you still get the $60 order & a very happy customer who will come back for more business. The silver lining is that we still had enough time to place another cake order elsewhere. And nope, we are not going back to Frost.

We tried several of the flavors and what I liked most is that none of them were overly sugary. The espresso gelato had a strong coffee flavor with very little sugar - It's now one of my favorites. The chocolate gelato had a nice dark chocolate flavor with chocolate shavings mixed in.

So good! We definitely will go there again, and again and again!!! Actually we have planned to have it every week! The gelato is super creamy and elastic! It is the best we have ever had. Our baby was having one small cup for herself for the very first time. She really enjoyed and was eating scoop by scoop constantly! Her joy made us love this place more. She is looking forward to having a cup every weekend for sure! And we would like to try the coffee there as well!

I absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for some cold treats! These gelatos are rich and tasty! These are so many to choose from but I got nutella and sea salt caramel they were great! and the best thing is gelatos are less sugar and fat compare to icecream! Friendly service,they even offered glasses of water while eating inside, pleasant experience!
