Good vibes but mid coffee. Wouldn’t recommend studying here, it’s more of a sit down and chat while you drink coffee spot

Very misleading from pictures online. Looks like a diner online. We show up and it’s basically a coffee stand with some pretentious books displayed like an art gallery. It’s also in the Virgin hotel so the clientele they want need to be making six figure salaries. Huge let down and the coffee is served in paper cups but you’re charged premium prices. Waste of time there are better options

Gray decor and ambiance. Sadly, coffee is very much subpar:/

Great lattes and muffins. The staff were very friendly. This place is on the 1st floor of the Virgin hotel so extremely convenient if you are staying there.

The coffee shop, despite its stylish decor, is marred by cleanliness issues and the presence of food flies right from the start, as vividly captured in uploaded photos and videos. Dirty seating areas further detract from what could otherwise be a pleasant ambiance. These visual confirmations of the food flies and the unclean conditions significantly diminish the overall café experience, overshadowing the potential charm of the setting.

Despite hours being posted outside and online that they close everyday @5pm I walked in @2:33pm to the raggedy looking barista saying she was not going to serve us and for us to leave since she was closed for the day despide the entire lobby of the cafe being filled with ppl drinking coffee. Would not recommend.

I tried to come here with my partner on a Sunday afternoon. We were quickly greeted at the door by a manager who informed us the coffee shop was closed for the day and we’d need to leave quickly. The place looked packed and no where near “closed”, the place was full of individuals working on their laptops and sipping cocktails, but for some reason my queer partner and I were shooed away. There was no mention of the shop closing early online, outside the establishment, or anywhere on social media. Overall disappointed with my experience!

This is a very fun coffee shop to check out. The cappuccino I had was decent but tbh the main draw is the aesthetic. It's a comfy place to study or read and I liked it mostly for that reason. If you're in the area definitely check it out.Dietary restrictions: Alternative plant based milks were available

pretty posh

Food was delish, atmosphere not so much. It was freezing cold outdoors and just as cold inside. Baristas were unfriendly and hardly helpful. There’s also a fruit fly infestation which made it difficult to focus so I ended up leaving sooner than expected. The seats were also dirty, nasty hair in the velvet cushions, and crumbs all over the table, booth, and floor.

Virgin Hotels and Richard Branson? Say no more, I sought this out on a chilly winter day while walking through Downtown Dallas. The name, sign, and of course Richard Branson business drew me in right away. For those not familiar with Sir Richard, he's quoted as saying "Train your employees so well they can leave, treat them so well that they don't want to."The ambiance of the Virgin Hotel and interior eateries is open, welcoming, soothing, and filled with everything you'd want. The staff is top notch. It felt like I got black tie bottle service when one of the cooks pointed me toward the bathroom.Haley, the barista, had the best suggestion of a "Matcha" Chai Latte when I was thinking of a simple, regular one. Got it with almond milk and it was one of the best I've had. There is a variety of plentiful seating, outlets, and amazing hotel guests from all over. Next time I'll strike up a conversation with a stranger.Lastly, the music in the background was some of the best I've heard, putting joyful thoughts in my head and a smile on my face during my entire drink.

The vibes in here at so nice! I love the creative decorations of this place. It gives the everyone is welcomed feel! Especially if you love music and being a creative. The cashier Natalie that made the lattes was really sweet. She had a big rush while she was helping me and was still very sweet and patient. She recommended me the Teddy Bear Latte so I'm trying that!It is sooooooo good and honestly I am not a cinnamon coffee girl! She did such a great job with this drink. I would definitely come back here if I was in the area for sure.

Perfect place for WFH or if you're looking for a cute place to meet up with a friend/treat yourself!I came to Funny Library on a whim to take a few meetings and get some breakfast. Although there was music playing in the background, it did not bother me much and I was easily able to work! The service was excellent and the barista did a great job of offering me some recommendations. I ordered the Breakfast Tacos, which were filling and came with a delicious green salsa! I would definitely order it again. The basic black coffee that I drank was also great - no complaints! The inside of the coffee shop is super trendy and there are a variety of seating options. Parking is relatively easy as there is a lot right next to the hotel that the coffee shop is in. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Funny Library if you're in the area!

Cute hidden must go coffee shop!! I came here last Sunday for a latte and it did not disappoint. I got the teddy bear ice latte with oatmilk and cinnamon cold foam ($6) and my friend got the ice chai w soy milk($7). Both were great- they don't charge for milk alternatives which is really nice and they have so much indoor seating for working/studying or catching up with someone. Our barista was really friendly and made our drinks quickly. We loved how it wasn't too quiet, but also not super loud. It's located inside the Virgin hotel so street parking can be a little tight, but worth the visit for affordable good coffee!!
