One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long while. Small, intimate, neighborhood place. I will be back, but I hope not too many folks discover it
Delicious, great service, super cute venue
Garden Cafe is one of the best kept secrets in Dallas. The farm to table menu is delicious and not overly expensive. We have visited many times. The exotic mushroom side and grilled cauliflower appetizer dishes were a hit with everyone tonight. Honestly some of the best you will taste of those dishes. The salmon was perfectly cooked, flaky and flavorful. Pork chops and steaks are also consistently delicious.
Highly recommend the Nashville hot chicken !
Made a late lunch appointment (1:45pm)
When we got there, we were told they would not have a table for at least an hour due to the “kitchen running behind.”
Tip to restaurant: have some courtesy and call all your customers with reservations to notify them of this next time.
We will NEVER come here again. This was our first attempt and last.
Great little place! There wasn't available seating outside in the garden area but the inside was still nice to sit in. Definitely a small space. Our waiter was wondering and the food was absolutely delicious I highly recommend 😋
Went for Sat brunch. Not much of a wait for the inside. 3 of us seated at a two top, but it really wasn't too bad on space surprisingly!
Once seated, it took a good bit to get water, then longer for menus. Drink orders arrived promptly. Once we ordered the food- the real wait began. The service was pretty lacking- likely more focused on the patio. When we rec'd the food the temp was correct and it was very good- cooked exactly to order, and flavor profiles were spot on. Would definitely be back, but will ensure we have reservations for patio next time.
Do not attempt to go here without a reservation if you have multiple kids. We went at 10:25 am and were told outside seating for our group was not available until 2 pm.
The shrimp and grits was everything …absolutely delicious. A little disappointed in my drink as I asked for something with presentation (flowers), and although reassured, my cocktail was very basic. Not the end of the world, though. I enjoyed my company and the food. I sampled the brussels sprouts and the sweet potato pancake in addition to my shrimp and grits. Outstanding. The garden area outside was also beautiful and peaceful.
I love coming here specially when there’s seating in the patio. All of their food items are solid. Specially their house biscuits and potatoes! Their coffee is pretty good and love the atmosphere inside and out!

Perfect little hidden gem. Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Will definitely be back to try more of the food!!
Service was great everyone was so sweet and the breakfast was soo good. My only complaint was from my partner, he ordered a country fried steak and the meat was hard to cut through and chewy he didn’t even eat it because the texture was unpleasant. But the servers were sweet to our dogs and were attentive to our needs/request
This place is perfect for brunch. Their breakfast is delicious- though I might be a bit biased since I’ve always been a breakfast kind of girl.😊
2 of the dinners served to our party of 4 were were subpar. My porkchop was way over cooked, very tough and dry. Not at all like the ones I saw in other people's pictures posted here. The vegetarian pasts dish had so much black pepper in it you couldn't taste much else. They were out of 2 of the desserts on the menu by 7:30 and the bread pudding was cold in the center. The patio service and outside dining area were great.
Absolutely splendid brunch. Vibes are immaculate.
