Gen Korean BBQ House Reviews
Went today for Valentines Day for lunch. We had to pay dinner price because all they offered. The instructions confusing. Poor experience and paid $65 for two people.
We came for lunch in Mountain View, Ca and they said today being Halloween they had to charge us dinner prices ($30 per person) it’s not the price that annoys me gen Korean bbq! It’s the principle of the matter! Stop taking advantage of your customers! Stop lying to us! 10/31/2024
I went here on Sunday night on a date and literally was sick to my stomach Monday with food poisoning and still recovering from it It was a cute idea going here but not when I'm missing two days of work The drinks are way too strong almost as if it was straight alcohol and the portions are very small getting food poisoning from a restaurant is not a good sign of The quality of the food I don't recommend it

Gen Korean BBQ House is a popular spot for Korean BBQ, known for its high-quality cuts of meat and fresh vegetables. Customers often enjoy the pork bulgogi and spicy pork belly, which are highly praised. The restaurant offers plenty of seating, making it easy for large groups to dine comfortably. Many reviews mention quick service, even when the place is busy, and a fun atmosphere that draws repeat visitors.
However, some guests have noted issues with security in the parking lot, describing poor security service and lack of camera access, which can be concerning. Service quality varies, with some servers being attentive and helpful, while others may forget sides or take longer to check back, even when the restaurant isn't crowded. The utensils, especially the scissors used for cutting meat, can be worn out, which affects the overall experience. The environment can be loud and brightly lit, and safety concerns may make it less suitable for children under 12.
Despite these concerns, the food remains delicious, and many customers plan to return. Vegetarian options are limited, and shared grilling surfaces mean cross-contamination is possible. Parking is ample, and the restaurant offers quick service and a lively atmosphere. Overall, Gen Korean BBQ House provides a memorable dining experience that keeps customers coming back for the quality meat and fun setting.
