I had heard a lot of great things about this place from my coworkers and decided to try it for the first time. I ordered on Uber eats and had the Takoyaki, sushi roll and eel roll. It's usually my standard what I get at other sushi places but the food was all warm for this location. I understand the Takoyaki is warm but im used to the rolls being cold or at least room temperature. To start off, the Takoyaki was a bit soggy and not crunchy at all, the octopus pieces inside...
UPDATE (FEB. 2024) 4 STARS: It's been about a month since my last experience at Genki and my negative review. I'm pleased to say that, with my latest order, the timing issue went away and the service went back to the Genki I know and love. I'm updating my review from 1 start to 4 stars, just as a warning about the issue that I had in the past, but overall I've continued to be pleased with the food quality, pricing, ease of ordering, and pickup experience.

Quality and price match relatively well, never had a problem with freshness. However the tuna I’ve been served never seems to be great, just alright. Salmon is my go to fish with this place.
