Ghost Donkey is a speakeasy lounge with a cool, upscale, and inviting atmosphere. It has a dark, speakeasy vibe with gorgeous multicolor lights across the ceiling and elegant chandelier style lighting. The vibe is stunning and makes you feel like you're in a scene from Pulp Fiction.

The bartenders are fantastic, super friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and quick with service. They help you choose mezcal cocktails and make them right in front of you. The drinks are fabulous, smooth, well balanced, and beautifully presented with dehydrated citrus garnishes. Care really goes into the cocktails. They also have cool drinks and even tacos.

The food is amazing and incredible. The sushi nachos are fresh, flavorful, presented perfectly, and the portion size is generous. They also have finger foods. The service is fast and attentive, even when the bar is busy. The music, lighting, and cleanliness are all perfect. Everything feels intentional and well done.

It is easily one of the best lounge experiences and one of the best spots in Deep Ellum. It is highly recommended and you will definitely be back.
