Dallas. A town where sushi often means rainbow rolls drowning in sriracha mayo, where the word “authentic” gets thrown around like confetti at a New Year’s party by people who wouldn’t know real wasabi if it slapped them across their spray-tanned faces. It’s a culinary wasteland of Instagram-ready abominations masquerading as Japanese cuisine.

I was at the Farmers Market and tried GZR Sushi for the first time and everything was a 10/10!! I got the crunchy California roll and it was AMAZING. Im not a huge sushi person either, but I was blown away. This was the best sushi I’ve had so far. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful and the service is the best. I would absolutely recommend trying GZR!

Pretty solid experience. Counter order, I’ve only been here when it was slow so not sure standard ordering. I ordered then sat at the bar and they brought my food to me. Sushi was fresh and balance. Tried the shrimp tempura and while it was good it wasn’t tempura, so be aware.

Food is served in plastic trays. Drinks are bottled only.
