If you are going for the ambience; this ain't the place for you. However, the food more than makes up for it. We ordered a shrimp po boy basket and a catfish basket. Both were absolutely delicious! They were hot, fresh and seasoned just right. We will definitely be back!
BEAST Academy descended upon Glen's Kitchen and we were not disappointed. My fried catfish was the best I've tasted in Texas and I've been here 15 years. Restaurants have big shoes to fill with my home state being Alabama. Also. I don't normally eat fried shrimp because it's usually more batter than shrimp. That was not the case. My shrimp was big with the perfect amount of batter and seasoning! My 8 year old son enjoyed the fries too and he's picky....
The fried salami and grilled shrimp is really good and great flavor, not dry at all, the broccoli and the sauce for the seafood was good to and worth the money and visit, very nice lady that helped me.
