$8 for a burger that was kind of like a room temperature plain simple no flavor. First time here. Onion rings overcook, not worth it. One beer one burger onion rings $20 not worth it.

I stopped by as I saw the 50% off burgers sign on a Tuesday. Since I’ve never been, I got the basic burger(w lettuce tomato, mustard etc) and added cheese. It was a decent burger. I don’t know if I would been happy to pay full price for it but maybe they do thicker burgers @full price. They add shredded cheese after the grilling process so it’s not melted…just falling all over the place like the shredded lettuce. There are a lot of other options so may opt for something else like chili cheese or something next time. Also I didn’t get any fries or sides just wanted to try the staple. I’d give it another try.

Vegetarian options: Veggie burger fries etc

Kid-friendliness: Lots of tables to sit and eat.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level so can fit a wheel chair

Cool place. Definitely gives you the local flavor. Unfortunately thats the best flavor you are going to get. The burger SUCKS. Its obviously low quality and just really falls short. I had some terrific cheese fries with it. But that burger was a real loser.

The cheese on my burger was not melted, it was shredded cheese so it was noticeable, it was more lettuce than anything. The onion rings were good. The service was great but I would not come back for the food.

This restaurant used to be great but has drastically gone downhill. Bad food, bad service, bad attitude, management does not care if there is a problem. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The burger and fries are nothing special…..just overpriced and sub-par quality. Bugs running across the floor, very disturbing. THIS PLACE IS AT THE BOTTOM OF MY LIST !!!!!!!!

I Have Been Going To Goffs For Almost 50 Years!! The #2 Hamburger With Onions And Hickory Sauce Is My Favorite! And The Fried Pies Are The Best Dessert In The World! Harvey Goff Was A Genius In Being The First Person In Dallas And Highland Park To Use A Coal Fired Grill To Cook On And The SMU Students And Highland and University Park Residents Are Very Loyal To Goff's!

Parking: In A Shopping Center Off Mockingbird And Bishop, Next To Walgreens, Roly Poly, SMU Bookstore And Lots Of Others!

Goff’s Burgers (real charbroil !) was my FAVORITE in the late 60’s, as a wee child going up in Highland Park. I always ordered the #9 salad burger. I remember my grandfather dying. We kids weren’t allowed to go to the funeral, but afterwards the family - who came in from all around, went out to Goff burgers and we all got to visit. It turns out that my dad and his brother and sister used to go to Goff’s when they were in high school in Highland Park! After I graduated from college in Austin, I moved to California for 33 years. Moving back for the last two years to hang out with my dad, I am so happy that not only is Goffs still very much in business, but it hasn’t changed a bit!

Kid-friendliness: It actually seems like the kind of place you could have a birthday party. There’s plenty of room.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yep, no problem here! Lots of flat space and their restroom is accommodating for that.

This is a great spot to get a bite to eat before a game at the stadium. The history of Dallas on the walls is worth the visit alone.Service was fast and the burgers were outstanding.

Super overpriced for a premade frozen patti thrown on the grill with cold shredded cheese sprinkled on top. At least, the fries were good....

My favorite burger, the burger that outshines all others anywhere – even beyond Dallas, is the #10 at Goff's. For this one beloved burger, I have been a devoted customer for many years. My one wish would be that the managers would NOT allow their employees to use disinfectant so liberally during serving hours. When you walk into a restaurant, you want it to smell like appetizing burgers – not like a gas station restroom. Ew! This is NOT inviting, dear Goff's. Please think about the impact you're making on customers.
