Super overpriced for a premade frozen patti thrown on the grill with cold shredded cheese sprinkled on top. At least, the fries were good....

Feels like a hollow version of what it once was. Twenty dollars for a mediocre burger, fries, and a drink feels like a rip off. Much better burgers to be had elsewhere at a fraction of the price. Overall if you like restaurants with sticky floors you will love this place.

My favorite burger, the burger that outshines all others anywhere – even beyond Dallas, is the #10 at Goff's. For this one beloved burger, I have been a devoted customer for many years. My one wish would be that the managers would NOT allow their employees to use disinfectant so liberally during serving hours. When you walk into a restaurant, you want it to smell like appetizing burgers – not like a gas station restroom. Ew! This is NOT inviting, dear Goff's. Please think about the impact you're making on customers.

It's a good burger, but the burgers seem smaller than most other places.

I went to Goffs today, wanted a hickory burger only, knew o didn't like their fries that much, but also wanted an apricot fried pie, those are still great. However, the burger meat on my burger was terrible, after eating it I wish I'd never even digested it. It was grainy or gritty can't figure it out, but it just was not good. I will not be going back there again. It's definitely not the same as it was in the past, it's been over a year since I've eaten there and it's changed since then. What happened Goffs, were you bought out or just cheapen-ing out. Get your meat right or you'll lose your business maybe not this week, but you'll lose business. Sauce also had changed, not even real hickory sauce..not sure what it was.

I'm biased because I been going to Goff's for 60 years. This was my dad's favorite burger joint before then. The burgers taste the same as always. The chili, cheese, and onion burger is great. My favorite is "The Gourmet", but that one might not be for everyone. They're reknown for their hickory smoke sauce. Their fries have improved since the olden days.

We had a great lunch here recently. The staff was friendly and gave great recommendations as this was our first time. The hickory burger, the #15 burger and the grilled cheese basket were all great. The chocolate shake was tasty as well. There is plenty of seating and they have high chairs if needed. Nice location within walking distance to SMU.

Great counter-service place for a quick burger and fries. We love the #9 salad burger with cheese. (salad = lettuce and tomato on it). I also love the hot dog options... fries are big enough to share for a smaller meal. People are always nice - but no nonsense. Prices are AWESOME.Parking: LOTS of parking spots - not always right up front, but very close.Kid-friendliness: Easy place for kids (we don't have any) - but it's totally kid-friendly. It's a burger place! And cookies and ice cream next door at Pokey O's too!

Been a loyal customer since the 70’s .Harvey was a unique character to say the least.Since Jimmy bought the restaurant he has continued to provide quality food and a place that emphasizes Dallas history.( SMU too )The walls are filled with pictures of the past rarely seen. The central feature is the glowing hot charcoal indoor grill. The meat is perfectly seared and tastes great. The French fries are crispy on the outside and tender inside. The combinations are varied and provide excellent choices.I’ve tried them all during the years and none disappoint. If you want a truly superior burger this is worth a visit.

It's a sit down fast food burger place. Been around a long time. Charcoal broiled makes a difference. Burgers are delicious. Fries are OK. Service is friendly and efficient. I don't get here enough, but burgers and fries are not on my diet so it's just a treat for me these days.

After a long day of learning nothing at Marsh jr hi we would crash the Forest Lane location eat apricot turnovers with Dr pepper and play Satisfaction and Get off my Cloud on the jukebox hoping Harvey wouldn't show up and kick us out cause of our long hair. Love Goff'

I should have known when the bagel shop in the middle of the day had a line our the door but Goff's Hamburgers had 2 people sitting at tables this was a bad idea. Goff's is a Dallas staple that has been in this neighborhood for decades but I never tried it before. When I walked in it has the feeling of a restaurant that stayed open longer than it should have - very dated. The guy behind the counter was much more interested in his phone than helping me, and when I asked for swiss cheese on my burger he said they only had American - strike 2.The fries were hot but dry, and the ranch that I paid and extra 75 cents for was right out of a jar - awful. If the guy behind the counter had put down his phone and checked my order he would have seen that the tomato and onions I requested were not on the burger, just adding to the disappointment of the entire experience. They have a goldmine location sitting in the parking lot of the SMU Sports pavilions, but it was obvious wrong menu and staff for this very high end location.
