Found this gem while en route to my daughter’s summer job nearby. When I picked her up, she commented how good the donuts had been; I agreed. Being foodies and seeing donut shops on every corner, these were perfect while others within 10miles have missed a mark or two. Every time I crave a donut, I think of this place and wished I was in the area more by closing time. (Writing this review as I crave donuts and had to show the kind shop owners some love!)

Do not come here if you have any allergies because they do not know what they put in their donuts. I called to ask if their strawberry glazed donut may have something with nuts (possible almond oils, etc). The lady kept telling me she doesn’t know and their baker went home. If you own a business, you should know what goes into your food, as many people have different allergies. Obviously will not be coming back.

Give me that I am someone who enjoys things like donuts but my type 2 diabetes does not allow me to do so very frequently. Thankfully I'm so strict on my diet my doctor is ordering me to cheat on occasion exclamation point this definitely allows me the opportunity to enjoy various Confections here and there. That being said I would like to say that this place was a very pleasant surprise. The jalapeno sausage rolls are just about perfect on size and breading. They could use a little bit longer in the microwave when they heat them up maybe another 5 seconds or so because it was a little bit cool in the middle but still warm. I also love, no love's not strong enough for word but I can't think of a better word, donut holes. These donut holes while a little bit smaller than one of their competitors has really good soft donut holes, are excellent! They are very fresh, they have a nice sugary coating on the outside but the sugary coating almost reminds me slightly of monk fruit that has it really deep sweet flavor to it. So if they're mixing monk fruit with their sugar, great choice exclamation point overall, definitely worth stopping by, definitely worth the price, not too expensive and definitely delicious exclamation point

I love Golden Star Donuts!! I’ve been going here for my entire undergrad and was so sad to be leaving my favorite donut spot. My favorites are the classic glazed and the sour cream, they make everything fresh and are very generous with their donut holes. Super kind staff, they run everything themselves and have always been the sweetest each time I’ve gone. Highly recommend!!

An excellent donut shop operated by 3 generations, we have also had three generations enjoy their fares. All good, especially the cake donuts.
