The setting is very intimate with only a few tables, perfect for date night. The wine list included several options under $100 as well as a selection of higher end bottles. The service was personable, attentive, and set to your pace as there is only one seating per evening. Some dishes were simple and let the quality of the ingredients and preparation shine. Others layered complex flavors that worked together to create something unique. The overall experience is exceptional. The price tag is high, but that is communicated well during the reservation process. We will definitely be back.

Not worth the hype! Food was small and had weird taste combinations. Appetizers are strange. I had a chicken appetizer with crayfish. Can't describe the flavor but it wasn't good. Then ordered a filet medium rare plus. It arrived rare. At this point, the chef came out and wasn't happy that I barely ate the appetizer and now the steak. When he asked why, I told him that it was very undercooked. This agitated him and at that point we decided we were done with our dining experience. Would not recommend this place.

Fabulous special occasion spot with welcoming hosts, top drawer creative food, great wine list and deserts. Wish ambiance was better but hey, its Village on Parkway anything can happen, literally. Area used to be wonderful, so sad.

My wife and I wanted a small, intimate setting to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Gorji Restaurant was a wonderful experience and the food and service were amazing. Chef Gorji personally attended to our table and made sure everything was perfect. We would highly recommend Gorji Restaurant for a truly fine dining experience. Thank you, Chef!

Gorji has a beautiful restaurant with only 5 tables. He also has 5 parking spaces for his customers in a very busy parking lot. He and his waiter, James, greet you and visit with you briefly about the courses. You can choose the 3 course for $129 or 4 course for $139. The food is expertly prepared and wonderful. It is definitely not your ordinary cuisine but I loved the variety. He has a nice wine list and can give you suggestions. I definitely recommend it and will return again. Gorji has won 42 awards and has been in this location for 22 years. He has jars of some of his sauces and dressings for sale. 5 Stars *****

Celebrated birthday. They keep everything focused on providing a great experience for the guests. Not a lot of tables, no turning of the tables. It's your table for the night.

Reception was great! Gorji greats you himself, comes to check on you throughout the experience, and he even came outside to make sure he said goodbye as we were leaving. Food is amazing! The food is fresh and light. My husband and I couldn't decide on what our favorite course was. Everything was its own experience and each was delightful! I cannot say enough good things about the experience. We will be back.

This was by far the best dining experience I've had in awhile. Chef Gorji was truly amazing. From his exceptional customer service leading up to the time you enter the restaurant, until you sit down to eat, his great touches to detail and truly understanding the art of the customer experience really transformed my overall experience here. I was in Dallas for the weekend and eating his delectable food made my time here that much more enjoyable! As it's a pre-fixed menu, the items change weekly so when you're eating this delicious food, it's a one of a kind experience. After arriving on-site, I was greeted and sat down immediately and was given a spiked apple cider to start the evening! His attention to detail while explaining the opening drink was remarkable. After reviewing the menu for this evening, I decided on escargot, a salad with pears in a pomegranate dressing and venison with grilled vegetables and gnocchi. Each plate of food was beautifully presented and all dishes cooked to perfection! All telling a story while each had the perfect flavor profile built in. That gnocchi was truly divine and super pillowy. It might have been the best gnocchi I've had in my life! The grilled vegetables were perfectly grilled and charred and complimented that venison well. That meat was the perfect medium rare and all components in that dish paired beautifully. Now I was stuffed, but the waiter convinced me to have dessert so I decided to try the vanilla ice cream with persimmons, blackberries, rose petals and sesame seeds. Upon first taste, it was truly refreshing on the palette. Between the crunch and sweetness in every bite, it was a perfect ending to my meal.
Between the outstanding customer service, knowledge of all wines and food being served, you are in good hands here for a stellar meal. If you're unsure about any item, great recommendations will be suggested to satisfy your palette. Very accommodating, which will make for a memorable evening. When back in Dallas, I will definitely be stopping in again to try the new whimsical items on the menu!
