Trendy fish place with decent offerings. Dropped in as an alternative to Montlake - our go to seafood spot - and found it packed early on a Thursday afternoon. Seated at the bar after a short wait. The seafood was good but we preferred Montlake for selection. The scene was happening though so that is a plus. Just be sure to make reservations.

Delicious and posh. We had the caviar, oysters, clam chowder, calamari, and cheeseburger. The best part though was the chocolate chip cookie dessert that came with ice cream. Those cookies were melting in our mouths with chewy, chocolatey goodness...mmmm yummy

Food and service were excellent. The oysters were amazing with a great rotating selection. The brunch menu is small but everything looks amazing. I ordered the ricotta pancakes. They come with a blueberry compote and I asked for it to be removed. It came out with blueberries so I was just going to scrape it off. The waiter came back and apologized when he realized and offered me a new plate but I said it was fine. But then they brought me a new one anyway!! Very nice and appreciated. Will be returning to try more

I would give service six stars if I could. Emmy was an absolute riot. Food was really fantastic. My friends had the lobster roll and crab cakes, I had the fish and chips. Outstanding. Will definitely be back.

The ambiance and service are great, meaning they are above top notch. Rey the bartender was also my host and very attentive. I can't comment on drinks but, I ordered a variety of oysters, and they tasted amazing. I also ordered tuna tartare on toast - it's precut and absolutely amazing. Looking forward to coming back when I visit.

Came for an early dinner, it was mostly empty. Hostess wanted a phone number and name just to get a table with no wait/reservation needed — odd. We just elected to sit at the bar.Food was just okay —we had fish & chips and the lobster roll. The fish & chips was wayyyy overpriced, and the lobster roll was about on-par with other places in Dallas, albeit smaller and not as good as Toulouse a block away.Service was a tad on the slow side to start, but picked up as we ate with water refill being timely and frequent — A+ there. The Black Pearl cocktail was delicious — I would go back just to sit at the bar and have one or two before going somewhere else for dinner.Overall, way overpriced for the quality of food we got on seemingly simple items. Maybe their more complex items are better and more worth it, but I’m not sure I’m willing to come back and pay more high prices to find out.

I really tried to find ways to give this restaurant a higher score, but unfortunately, in good conscience, I simply could not. Green Point is a newer addition to the Knox and Henderson area, offering quite an array of seafood items. Where this restaurant fell completely short for us was the service. We arrived late afternoon on a rainy Saturday, and immediately the mood and vibe that we received from the wait staff was cold and not very hospitable. The hostess was cordial, but the other lady next to her had a rather unfriendly and somewhat judgmental tone. We elected to sit at the bar not thinking too much into it, but just like the first impression, the second unfortunately was not any better. There were two bartenders on staff at the restaurant, with one of them being a lady who made us feel not welcome. Mind you, this was late afternoon on a Saturday, and the restaurant only had a few patrons. Service seemed to also lack care and attentiveness and seemed to take a bit longer considering we only ordered drinks and oysters, which I had to remind the bartender a few times if our order of oysters was on its way. At that point, we elected to pay out and go to a different place. I would also like to add that the only reason I am leaving an extra star is due to one individual, Gerrardo, who actually had a very nice conversation with us and was actually attentive when the bartenders fell short. While I completely understand that we have off days, this restaurant is in the hospitality industry where patrons should feel welcome and goes beyond just the decor and atmosphere. Considering this is a restaurant in one of the most prestigious areas in Dallas, I would challenge Green Point to evaluate how they treat their patrons.

Expansive bar and centerpiece of restaurant. Have been a few times and enjoyed over the top service from the front staff and wait staff. The new choc chip cookie dessert is a must.

Service was impeccable, food and menu needs a little work. I would love to give them another chance as I think they were almost there but need to work through a few things. The seafood pasta was a bit overcooked and dry, steak tartar was lacking any real flavor and the snapper was nothing to write home about. I will say, the cocktails and oysters were wonderful, would certainly come back for happy hour and indulge in those.Parking: Valet on Travis St
