Maaaaaaaaaaaan i love dis place, the food, service and atmosphere is amazing. Management and staff are always so friendly...i definitely recommend it to everybody. Gus's chicken is on point 👉🏽💯🔥🔥🔥

Well we didn’t know that you now have to pay to park there which is absolutely ridiculous. We’ve been a couple of times and the food is so good!

First time ordering it for home delivery. Got the chicken strips and they were not good. Not sure if it was old chicken from yesterday but not a good first experience

Excellent fried chicken. Got a parking ticket in their parking lot for their customers (owned by city) within 5 minutes of sitting down. Manager said they will take care of it (thank you). apparently happens frequently.

I just left this restaurant and had a deeply concerning experience regarding food safety and sanitation. Upon my arrival, I noticed that the cook was handling food while on his phone, using a corded earpiece. This is highly unsanitary and unacceptable for a food service environment.

I immediately brought this to the attention of the cashier, who informed me that she was new and unable to do anything about it. A second cashier witnessed the issue but did not address it either. I have always enjoyed Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken and have never encountered such unsanitary conditions at any location, especially not at the original Memphis establishment.

I am extremely disappointed with the way this location is being operated, as it does not uphold the high standards that Gus’s is known for. I strongly urge you to address this matter immediately to ensure proper food safety practices are being followed. I will also be sharing my concerns with the corporate office, as well as the health department if necessary.

This is arguably one of the Best Fried Chicken in Dallas! Sides are pretty good too, but could work on their taste of their Mac and cheese 😬 Still better than most though! I’ll be back again and again!

Parking: Got an $80 ticket for parking in their lot 😑 while I ate.. Not even 30mins

The fried chicken was the prefect amount of crispy and well seasoned. The mac and cheese complemented the chicken very well. Very laid back atmosphere, making it a great spot to grab drinks and chicken.

The chicken and tenders, infused with a subtle Cajun spice, were a hit. The okra, fries, and slaw were equally delicious. The restaurant lives up to its reputation for being world-famous. The friendly staff ensured that we received our order promptly. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.

Rakim was a great introduction to my first experience at Gus’s. He was attentive and the food was amazing. I had the two piece dark with fries. The chicken was crispy, crunchy and juicy. Can’t wait to come back when I need a fried chicken fix.

The service here at Gus’s is great I’m from Kansas City Missouri and they treated me as one of there own, Stuff is a really nice front counter lady and she will continuously check on you to make sure your good, T is a great manager he makes sure that your food is fresh and the place is clean for you to eat and Jen is also great she will make sure all your needs are met definitely a 10/10 I will be back next time I come to dallas

I had a great time here, the chicken was great as it's always been for me every time and everyone was welcoming. I recommend it if you're out and about in the Deep Ellum area on the weekends !
