Small, quaint place. Great atmosphere. I had the oysters mystic mermaid was a nice surprise and the pink bands were absolutely delicious. I also had the gold margarita and let's just say 2 of those will do the trick

They offer a variety of oysters which prove to be both fresh and delicious. The calamari was great. Both were included in their happy hour discount. Did I mention the service? It was excellent! I highly recommend giving this place a try. We will definitely be returning.

One of our absolute favorite spots in Dallas! The food, staff, and service are always top notch. We tried the blackened shrimp quesadillas, jalapeño soup, and guacamole nachos, every bite was incredible. The peel-and-eat shrimp are hands-down the best around. Consistently the top choice in Snyder Plaza, highly recommend!!

Half Shells is a wonderful, reliable neighborhood spot with terrific service. The seafood is always fresh and less expensive than similar spots. It has a brilliant new owner who has extensive knowledge of the brand and is devoted to making this Snider Plaza staple a true gem. Excellent grilled salmon and redfish, flavor-packed gumbo and super filling fish tacos are favorites. Great wine list and lively vibe. Park Cities families line up for this place!

Half Shells was such a pleasant surprise! Tucked away in Snider Plaza, this spot feels like a hidden gem. The oysters were fresh and flavorful (I ordered the Mystic Mermaids), and everything I ordered was well-prepared and delicious. The service was warm and friendly, which made the experience even better. Prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality, and their happy hour deals are hard to beat. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving seafood without the fuss. Pictured: soup sampler with oyster nacho and banana pudding.
