I specifically said I wanted the smothered gravy ribs and still got bbq ribs(I was aggravated so I didn’t even care to return it)but I KEPT saying smothered ribs in the gravy sauce idk how they got they confused with bbq sauce
The prices for the dessert was scratch off just to find out it was $8 for a cup of banana pudding
I was charged a non cash fee that I was unaware about
They could have at least informed me on that
The greens was HORRIBLE! Omg nasty af and bitter like they wasn’t washed properly
I paid $60 for trash
I was highly upset
Then it said it come with corn bread but I didn’t even get my 💩!
Never again

Went and had lunch today ..thank you so much!! I had a rib basket my husband had a loaded potato...food was amazing...service was great and very friendly....we will be back

Purchased a short rib sandwich with hot sauce on the side to go. The ribs were burned on both sides and were not eatable. I only stopped there because I had $10.00 off of my order for my birthday. I only had to pay $1.08 for a sandwich that I couldn't eat. Never ever again will I stop there to order food. should have known something was nor right, because the place was empty.

And everything was good to me. No complaints at all. I accidentally got the neck bones and they were so good!

The bbq sauce tasted like tomato sauce horrible, and the pittsburgh hot links were good but they were cooked a little too long and looked burnt as hell.

I came here from CHIME’s review to read the restaurant reviews. You all didn’t even notice that the signs and phone numbers are different? Even the buildings are different. Stop this nonsense please.

Because I can't give a comment without choosing a star...You Never know who will show up at your place of business. So the customer service must always be on point! I am a food Tour Guide with a prestigious local company but showed up in my primary job in uniform for a lunch meal. I asked for a sliced beef sandwich and cole slaw. However I was charged for what I ordered to be later told that they didn't have Cole slaw. They offered me the potato salad but I'm not a potato salad person so I declined. Yes I asked for moist pieces with fat. I got to work and started to eat my sandwich. I couldn't stop chewing after the first bite. So I opened my sandwich and found the from "yesterday along with the veins of the fat." I called them to let them know that I couldn't eat the mess they gave me for 21.50. Sarah says, " Bring it back and I'll fix it. I saved the order in its original bag and all. She looks at it turns her face up at it then throws it away. I tell her to just give me two of the specials which consist of a chopped beef sandwich, 3 hot wings, fries and a 20 oz drink for 7.00. (I chose that because I was afraid of what I might have gotten to replace my poorly sliced and rendered Slice Beef sandwich for 13.00. What I received was two orders of yesterday's wings, a chopped beef "slider" (mostly bun), petrified fries but the drinks were on point! Never, never, never will they get my hard earned money again!!! I tried to support a black on business that did NOT support my need for a meal that deserves my support! SOME Black Businesses MUST do better to get the support they want! HARDEMANS WILL NOT BE ON MY LIST FOR THE TOURISM OF BBQ/SOUL FOOD TOURS THAT I AM FAMOUS FOR EVER!

In response to Hardemans, since I am unable to reply to their comment…under my original post.. I have every right as a consumer to come here on this platform and express how I feel about the food that I purchased. And no I DO NOT have to waste my time and call to tell you anything.. it’s straight in the garbage and never return for me… I have no desire to dine in/out or get delivered that horrible food and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. You invited Mr. Chimetime (Food critic) to taste your food and confirmed every negative comment.. did you ask him why he didn’t call you? So again…why would your business be struggling.. as you stated? Just do better…people are busy and don’t have money to waste!!!

And to add since I can’t reply to Hardemans comment::I definitely know about that Scyene location…Terrible and It’s a Good thing he didn’t, that location is just as bad!! Same name, same terrible food!

Baby if you’re not from TX, DONT DO IT! They seem to have a misunderstanding about BBQ. What I ordered was not good at all EXCEPT the potato. It was cooked properly and very tasty. Everything else was inedible.
The customer service was GREAT! The lady on the phone was SO sweet even though I was telling her I did not like her food, which I NEVER do. But I HAD to call because honestly thought it was…idk I Was concerned. I thought something was wrong. (Just look for yourself. Pics below)
0/10, do not recommend unless you want a good potato. I can’t speak for everything else.
If you ARE from TX, this is the type of food that you’re probably used to so PLEASE patronize if you want some “good BBQ”.
They are SO sweet and professional. !
