Their Chipotle ketchup/mayo is really good and they use fabric napkins for a homey feel.
It's usually quiet when I go and easy to get to via 75 and Beltline!

Haystack has always been a reliable burger joint—good food, good service, and solid value. Unfortunately, tonight missed the mark. The burgers didn’t taste quite as good as usual and seemed noticeably smaller, which made the price harder to justify. Still a decent burger overall, but the value that once set Haystack apart no longer seems to be there. Sadly, this will likely be my last visit.

We visited this location on Friday night and were fairly disappointed with our experience. The food is good and was fine, but the restaurant was generally dirty and loud. Trying to find a clean table to sit at for two people proved difficult and otherwise kids kept running in and out of the doors and parents were generally too drunk to notice or care.

Good burgers and chicken sandwich here . Staffs are great and have outside seatings also . Burgers was cooked like the way I requested and it came out nice and juicy . Chicken was surprisingly crispy and good .

Prefer the Richardson location next to Alamo Theatre and Frisco on Main. This new place is huge. Been there twice and there were only a total of six patrons. I was there for their Haymaker. Always good.

Pickles were paper thin. Mostly breading. The burger wasn’t dry or overcooked but tasted burnt. Idk if they didn’t clean the grill before cooking the new burger idk but It had a bad char flavor.

the worst burgers i may have ever ordered. they were all undercooked. i ate some of two different ones and felt really sick. when i checked they were very undercooked. I got another entirely different one for my girlfriend who couldn't eat a single bite.

The burgers are excellent—juicy and flavorful.
Unfortunately, one of the managers (the tall guy) was arrogant and dismissive, which really hurt the experience. Great food deserves better service and i only comes here for the food alone. Anyway, just eat enjoy and go..

🍔 Haystack Burger – Veggie Vibes & Parkside Perks 🌳

Tried out Haystack Burger with high hopes and hungry hearts! We ordered the vegetarian burger—a mix of beans and veggies, topped with cheese and lettuce. Let’s just say… it wasn’t exactly a flavor explosion 💥. Compared to the veggie burger at Shake Shack (aka Shik Shak in our house 😄), this one felt a little shy on the wow factor.

We also gave their “special fries” a shot 🍟—but the only thing special was how quickly they disappeared… not because they were amazing, just because we were hungry 😅.

Ordered a plain veggie burger for my daughter with just cheese—no complaints from her, but she did drown it in ketchup like it was a rescue mission 🚨🍅. Gotta love that kid logic!

Now, the real MVP of this spot? It’s right across from a park 🛝🌞. So while the grown-ups are busy judging bean patties, the kids are living their best lives. That alone earns it a few gold stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Can’t speak for the beef burgers since we stick to halal, but maybe that’s where the magic hides 🧙‍♂️🍖.

Final Verdict: Meh on the veggie, yay for the location. Would I go back? Maybe… if the kids drag me there after a park run 😄.

Their cheesesticks are decadent. That's the strongest draw for me tbh. The burgers are also very good, with a smokey flavor, with a proper ground beef patty and a dependable and soft bun. Never been there I get it delivered. But the cheesesticks are almost evily good, it's almost too much to eat 5 with the burger but I would, or split some of them.
