My husband and I visited to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. The ambiance is so inviting, and the food was delicious! Our server was very nice and friendly, but he did get lost from time to time- it wasn't that big of a deal (for us in the moment) because we were having a good time. Will definitely return!

We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation scheduled for 2:00 PM. The place was empty and the hostess made us wait until 10 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Then they tried to seat us on the patio when the reservation that we booked specified that we preferred indoor seating. We thought she knew this since she didn't ask. (Usually the hostess will ask if you prefer first available seat or indoor/outdoor) and she did not. We've been coming to this Haywire location for years and this definitely stood out as a miss-step to their usual hospitality.

The steak and redfish entrees were absolutely perfect. We were also treated with a free bread pudding dessert for our anniversary which was so thoughtful. We love Haywire.❤️

It was so hot in there that I couldn't finish my meal, which took away from the experience. I appreciated the parking validation. Sadly, it was cooler in the parking garage!

If you want your car to get stolen from valet try dining here! :) how does lonestar valet company not monitor a lock box for over an hour?! The lock box for valet keys was left unattended while dining here and my brothers car got stolen. We were notified an hour later after it was stolen. Please beware if you come here that the valet is absolutely terrible.

Not a good experience. No personality/southern hospitality. Food was not great, but very pricey. Manager was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience.

The food and service were excellent! The drinks were good and strong! I will be back and would 10 out of 10 recommend you others! My only complaint would be the hostess team. They weren't that friendly upon checking in for my reservation. And honestly had it not been for what I think was the manager who walked by and noticed that we had been sitting for a while, I would've had to go back to ask about our table. We got there at 3 pm and our reservation was for 3:15.

The parking situation was convenient, and I appreciated that they validate—but it wasn't super clear how it worked when we first arrived. I'm guessing they get asked about it all the time. Unfortunately, the experience inside didn't quite match the ease of parking. The host stand set the tone, and not in the best way—the girl working it seemed annoyed by guests, and it felt like we were bothering her just by checking in. The food itself was mostly good, though my barbacoa chilaquiles had a giant chunk of fat that took up most of what should have been the meat portion—kind of disappointing. Brittany, our server, didn't help turn things around either. She barely checked on us, didn't engage, and honestly just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Overall, the staff gave off an odd vibe—something just felt off about the whole energy of the place. Because of that, we're undecided on whether we'll come back. The food has potential, but the service and atmosphere need work.
