Today I returned to Heim to try their Bacon Burnt Ends as they were sold out the last time I visited. Man, were they good! Loved the fries as well. What was an added plus was the loaves of white bread available to eat with our meals. Burnt Ends, Barbecue Sauce, and white bread is a combination that should not be missed. Had myself a fabulous lunch.

It may be great BBQ, but if they’re out of food well before closing you’re not going to bother to come by again.

Food was very good. We didn't know they served beer, that would have been nice to know.

I ordered two meat plate with brisket and bacon ends and it comes with two sides, collard greens and onion rings. I did not get onion rings and the meat were cold when I got home. I live 5 mins away. I called them for the onion rings and they didn't answer. So annoying, I'm already starving and it's a late lunch and this is inconvenient having to deal with. It was already a long wait for to go which, I didn't understand why. People got their food faster eating there
10+ visits and it is always good. Super consistent. One of the best bbq spots in dallas

Had an amazing Texas BBQ experience at @heimbarbecue, home of the bacon burnt ends! My mom's flight was delayed so this location right outside of Love Field Airport was the perfect spot to feed my belly while I waited for her. Here's what I got! Bacon Burnt Ends- I was blown away by how tender and perfectly seasoned they were, bbq sauce definitely wasn't needed at all! Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage- Just the right amount of heat, plump, and savory! Collard Greens- Addicting, cooked perfectly with just a slight hint of sweetness. Twice Baked Potato Salad- Flavor packed and creamy just like I like it! I know Texas is known for its BBQ, but until I visited Heim hadn't been to a Texas BBQ spot that really impressed me much. Heim does it right! Way to represent!! I can't wait to dine again.

Drove all the way down from Plano only to find they were closed for a private event. I understand the need to make money, but really, close your business during advertised "open" hours?

Ok so we went in the last 2hrs of being open so they only had brisket and pulled pork. We got the, “potato salad “ , and onion rings which were yummy but reminded us of a funnel cake lol. Sliced and chopped brisket were good, I’m not a fan of pulled pork but I was told by my family it was good. Now the “potato salad “ was a cold pile of loaded baked potato lol. Its good just not what you want when you think potato salad its probably fire baked. Now the banana pudding! Absolutely trash I want my money back lol. It was liquid jelly like but it taste like powder and tapioca as well just a giggly mess. We will be back though to try some other things because it’s close to home and worth it. The kid enjoyed his fries and brisket sliders.
