My ❤ was hurt. I pulled up at 8:15 with a hungry stomach and a taste for Hendersons but the doors were locked though hours show open until 9pm. I will try again one day to hopefully increase the star rating!

We moved to the area about 3 weeks ago, we know nothing about this area my 5 year old and I, she loves chicken it was walking distance, came here got chicken tenders for her, I got the 3 PC mixed, loved it, they gave my daughter candy. We just went again tonight well my daughter wanted the chicken I got last time so we shared a 5 PC mixed, My daughter remembered from last time they give suckers candy if they have them. Well the 2 beautiful young ladies gave her some, made us feel so welcomed, new to the area and just felt at home that was amazing for us. Remind yall, we just moved to the area I took her to the neighborhood around the corner for Halloween yall we walked 2 blocks no candy in her bucket after 2 blocked we just walked home. Single mother with my 5 year old I felt so blessed just to see a smile on my baby face tonight as times have been super hard. And also we tore that chicken UPP. and will definitely be back!!!!

I have a couple of employees who have been bragging about Henderson chicken for a couple of years now . They were always comparing Henderson to both Rudy's chicken and hall's chicken, both of which I am also huge fans of . And I finally, got my hands on some and I have been stuck on it and craving it regularly, every since . One thing I'd like to say to give an idea of their chicken is they are in the middle of Rudy's chicken and halls chicken, where as Rudy's chicken is overly seasoned, halls isn't seasoned at all, but Hendersons chicken is seasoned to perfection. My kids said they have the best chicken strips in the DFW , and we'll continue to test their opinions as we come across other places . Now, It very important that you understand that location plays a huge factor in your experience. Personally, I love the Lancaster location not including the overwhelming level of anxiety that I get for them being so freaking tiny and having so many people standing around outside and inside of the restaurant, but because the Lancaster location workers are always so friendly , welcoming , I'm good spirits and the food is always hot, fresh and always good. Now I've read so many reviews regarding the drive thru locations in Desoto , and I can say my experience the couple of times I've gone have always been similar to the majority of the people's reviews. The desoto location, the workers are RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, GHETTO, IMPATIENT AND I can list a number of other unpleasant words to describe them. I exaggerate none when I tell you, I've gone before and was approached at the intercom with "what you want "??? And as I'm telling/listing to the lady what I want she would continue to interrupt me each time with asking " is that it"? Like I really wanted to snap and address her about her unprofessional behavior and rushing me as if I wasn't doing them a favor and aiding to their business with my hard earned money, but I also know better then to be aggressive with people handling your food. I will admit that her tone was different and changed when I got to the window , she even complimented me on my hairstyle. Or ??? maybe the lady on the intercom and the lady at the window are two different people??. Either way, they are always rude for no reason. And I only still go to that Desoto Location when I really want some Henderson chicken but I don't feel like getting out of my car and confronting my anxiety. My five stars is for the recipe it's self , all locations that I've gone to the food is always good and hot . but my 5 stars, are also for the great hospitality/customer service at the location in Lancaster.

Flavorless chicken, overpriced, overcooked. Horrendous customer service, the manager or owner has a bad disposition. Walking up to the counter to yell at the cashier, poor dude had enough and was sassing his dumass back. Honestly I don't blame him. I should've just canceled my large order which took 52 minutes to complete. I thought, well he took his time to make it fresh... Uhh no. The chicken had to have been sitting out in the kitchen where you can't see. He brings small batches to the counter where they supposed to fill the order but no, dude was holding onto old ass chicken and bring up when he felt like it. Never ever going back.

Our favorite chicken spot, although you have to get there early if you want what you want. They run out early at times. I went the week before at approximately eight p.m., and they were out of most chicken. I was only able to get a four piece wing and then a 10 piece with fries, pickels, and peppers. I also wanted another four piece and was unable to get it. They did give me extra fries though.Wheelchair accessibility: There is one Handicap parking spot that I've seen.

We got the chicken tender basket and the chicken was super juicy. Portions were good. Chicken could’ve had a little more flavor but the quality of the chicken definitely made up for that. We will be back!
