Has gone downhill. Waited in a standing line way past our reservation time, once we got seated they were out of all of the menu items we had looked forward to, and felt like we were being rushed out.
The Henry Winter Wonderland is absolutely beautiful, our server was so patient kind and helpful. The food was honestly subpar for the prices. Our french fries came out cold and some of the more expensive dishes were not even an adequate serving size for an average adult. The drinks, all around $20 were cute, festive and strong. I spent a total of $55 on one drink, and one meal. Plus the seven dollar “donation “. I don't like that they call it a donation, you cannot enter the building unless you pay that fee along with tax. That's an entry fee.
While our waitress was lovely, the food was average. I asked for a glass of wine when we ordered our entree. Our appetizer came with our entree and I didn't receive my glass of wine until we were through. I did request they take it off the bill and they did. I don't think I will be back.
The holiday pop-up was charming and inviting, but the food and drinks were not worth the high price.
The holiday cocktail list is darling as per usual the graham cracker brie little sandwiches were delicious. The sangria was good but a little sweet, but the highlight was the holiday espresso martini. The bar didn't open until 4 PM and you do need to have a reservation and even if you have a reservation, you still have to wait in a line. My reservation was at 4:30 and I had to wait until almost 450 to get seated after waiting in line You have to pay a donation fee at the door as well. It's seven dollars so it's not a lot but I feel like the restaurant should donate not the other people I'd I'd prefer to donate direct to cause instead of not knowing where the money goes. Oh and all it's very cute the outside I think it is decorated even cuter like a snow lodge but the inside is also cute little Christmas decor. Everything was obviously pretty overpriced, but everybody loves her Christmas bars in Dallas, right ?
Truffle fries appetizer arrived cold. Was replaced with a warm one. Wait time for drinks was long. Waitress was pleasant
They sat our party of five early, which was great but then neglected greeting us for a while. Had to get up and ask for someone to bring us waters to the table. When our appetizer arrived we had no share plates so everyone had to eat off of the same plate. Took over an hour for our brunch/ sandwiches to even make it to the table- the manager apologized for the late food. Booked this reso at around 7 pm saturday night for sunday brunch- made the mistake of booking at the rooftop-had to pay $7 per person (donation) to book for the St. Christmas- I realized this mistake and called an hour later to change our reso because we didnt realize this was a “pop up” to the regular “Henry” -they said they would still charge you the $35 to cancel and rebook for downstairs although whoever I spoke with on the phone told me if I couldn't find a reso for downstairs to just book upstairs without giving any extra info. Food was bland and you're paying for the ambiance which was subpar. This was our second attempt at the Henry and we wont be trying again.
Our overall experience was 6/10. We didn't appreciate the fact that we were forced for donate $7 before we went upstairs to the rooftop, we had no idea what organization we were donating to or any information about it because what if we didn't want to donate ? A donation on top of an already very expensive menu when we got upstairs. The way that the hostess said it was also very annoying, “ we will go ahead and collect your donations now” and we were obviously extremely confused. They also taxed the donation which was interesting. Our drinks weren't good so we only got one and we typically do 2 rounds of drinks. The ambience was okay, it's a pretty place to take a few pictures but definitely not a 10/10 experience. I would eat at the Henry again in the regular dining area but this will be my last year attending the rooftop.
Rooftop could use some fans or cooling devices. Also wasn't told you have a limited menu upstairs, we would have spent far more on your full menu if it was available, which is kind of crazy you couldn't bring higher priced items just up the stairs.
The food was amazing and I loved how they were able to customize dishes for this little vegan 😄. I'll definitely be back soon!

Service was very slow, we had to wait 10-15 minuted for the server to come and ask what we wanted to drink
It was alright, I made a reservation for outside and showed up and they only had a table for inside. There was some conflict between staff that guests should not have been aware of (but we were). Fun decor though
Briana was an excellent server and the food we had was excellent. Disappointed they were out of pork so could not order sliders or nachos.
Loved the experience, but to get the best aesthetics experience that you may have seen advertised on social media, request to sit outside.
We waited a very long time for our drinks. We ordered them at the same time as our food yet they were served after our food. Food was decent, but seemed as though it was sitting out for a while. I loved the atmosphere, great view so I might be back - just disappointed in the quality.
