Their fajitas used to be so very good now they are tough and chewy if you get fajitas for one they charge for a half a cup of beans, which are four dollars they just start doing that they’re guacamole is not made from scratch anymore so we won’t be going back anymore
It’s a small, quaint place that hasn’t changed since I was a kid coming with my mom. The fajita combo nachos or the beef enchiladas plate is my go to. Hands down the best and hottest salsa and chips in Texas. I highly recommend this place. My mom passed away last year and until she passed, we always met at Herrera’s Oak Cliff for lunch. I carry the tradition with my own family.
If you are looking for some excellent authentic Mexican food… look no further than Herrera’s! Great staff of guys and amazing tasting food. Don’t be shy and try the complimentary bean soup and make sure you have your drink close by when you dive off into their salsa. If that isn’t hot enough for you they do have hotter upon request.
