not great bar
BEWARE HIDDEN SERVICE FEES: I completely agree with the other one-star reviews. The staff AND management here are incredibly rude. Went to pick up a few of the Christmas mugs during their “Sippin’ Santa” holiday pop up. I approached the bartender who referred me to a waitress to purchase the mugs I was interested in. That alone took about ten minutes as she was busy waiting on other guests. While waiting, the bartender kept giving me this look that I was bothering him. Upon returning with the mug, she proceeded to ring up the transaction on her mobile credit card terminal. I looked at the total which seemed rather high. After running my card and printing a receipt, I saw I was charged not only for the one mug at $29.95 but also a sneaky additional 20% service fee of $5.99. I asked if she could please remove the $5.99 service fee from my bill. This took another ten minutes. After waiting for her to return I noticed the manager had been sitting at the bar across from me this entire time. He approached me in a confrontational way asking me “what I needed”. I informed him that I was waiting for the credit card reversal. He at this point became agitated with my request and said he was “matching my energy”. Weird right ? He then grabbed the original receipt from me which showed the service fees and crumpled it up in his hand. I said I would like to have that original receipt back please but he refused. Fortunately, I had taken a photo of the original receipt with the service fees. He then said “the credit went through bro”. Bro? Is that how you speak to your customers? I am not your “bro”. He then said “now leave” which I gladly did. Overall, it took 30 minutes to purchase one mug, was treated disrespectfully AND asked to leave. I seriously doubt this place will be in business much longer. Take a look at the numerous one-star reviews here. Sounds like Jon Taffer from Bar Rescue needs to pay this place a visit. They also search all ladies’ purses upon leaving to ensure you didn’t steal one of their precious mugs.
Walked up to the attendant because it wasn't clear Hide was open. He stated, IDs and thats it. There wasn't a line, we were the only people there
We provided IDs. He said he need to check purses on the way out as people steal drinkware. We walked in, it was dead, looked like a diner, very strange and bright. We left and went to Leela's down the street. Great immediate service. Fantastic drinks. We'll be back to Leela's. I doubt Hode will be around much longer.

The place was decorated for Christmas nicely. The Christmas drinks were not good. The share food was ok. The server automatically added 20% gratuity for a party of 3. My purse was searched while exiting to see if I had any glassware in there. Overall experience was not great and I will not return.

I’d been going to Hide for years but they definitely have lost a consumer. While leaving the guy told me he HAD to check my purse (which was very small and can’t even hold a full size wallet) before leaving. You legally cant make customers consent to checking their personal belonging on the way out of an establishment, especially if there isn’t a suspicion of a crime and it’s definitely doesn’t fall under shopkeeper privilege. I hate when establishments overstep legal boundaries, and make customers feel like criminals.

Food is mediocre. Service is terrible. Waitresses complained that she wanted to go home and only came to our table once. We definitely wont return. Its not worth it. I dont recommend it.

Overall bad experience. Went for the Miracle pop up, sat at the bar and waited 20 minutes to order, everyone around looked upset, ordered and got a drink, which was good, and the fries which the bartender recommended as the best food there and they were just freezer bag regular fries. Took over 30 minutes to try and close out our tab. Came in specially for an ad we got online in which they did not honor. Place was overall understaffed, and we felt bad for the members of staff there dealing with unhappy customers. Drink was the only positive here!

Beware of the staff and your bills! They scammed us here.
First off, their bouncers are rude and unprofessional. Smelling like smoke, cussing for no reason, and just had the worst attitude. The drinks were not it, they were sour and they charged us wrong!
For 8 lemon drops and 2 martinis the total was $190! We were in disbelief and asked for their sorry looking manager only to tell us that they charged correctly and that lemon drops were “special drinks” and while telling us this, he was making it seem like we didn’t know what was going on because he was shaking and shivering in his boots!!
We ended up leaving it just because they said they can’t do anything about it and that’s just how they charge it.
While leaving, their security guards wanted to inspect our purses and mind you the sizes could only fit a phone and a lipgloss and said that they’re making sure we didn’t steal their cups! Make that make sense!

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The waitress took an excessive amount of time to even come to our table, even though the restaurant was not busy. Others who walked in after us received their orders almost 15 minutes before ours. And all we had were drinks. When it came time to split the checks, she yelled at my aunt across the table while my aunt was calmly trying to explain how the checks needed to be separated. Completely unacceptable behavior.
I ordered an espresso martini and instead was brought an entirely different drink with ice, which was not what was ordered at all. The waitress’s tone throughout the night was consistently rude and dismissive.
To make matters worse, we were overcharged $36 for a single beer, which we only caught after reviewing the charge and had to call the bank to dispute. That alone is alarming.
Overall, the waitress appeared extremely unprofessional and behaved in a way that made us uncomfortable , to the point where she appeared impaired. Whether that’s the case or not, her conduct was inappropriate for any restaurant, let alone one charging premium prices.
Management seriously needs to address staff behavior, accuracy in billing, and basic customer service. I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

went here on a friday night about 7pm, it’s the holiday season so it’s decorated for christmas which is cute and cozy, but kinda disorganized. couldn’t figure out how to get to the rooftop bar which several others struggled with too. took the bartender about 10min to notice my friend and i were waiting for drinks, she didn’t look around to see who had been standing there, would just look straight up and whoever was in front of her is who she served. the music def didn’t match the christmas vibe, was like club music, christmas music would’ve made more sense lol. the drinks were ok, got the holiday candy cane drink (2) and the drinks alone were over $35 which is crazyyyy esp when they’re served in a small cup. i can see why ppl go here, mostly for the vibe im sure, but i don’t know if i’d recommend it unless you just want to hang out in a cute place.

My wife and I were in the area last week (Monday) and she looked online and saw that this place had an all day happy advertised on their online menu. $7 drinks and the food ranged from $5-$8. Thinking this sounded like a good deal and the food looked good, we decided to try it. When we got seated, we scanned the QR and on the menu that we scanned, again, we saw an all day Monday happy hour advertised on their happy hour section of the menu. We ended up ordering 3 drinks, a soda, one entree and on appetizer (everything but the soda was on the happy hour menu). Once we were ready to go, the waiter brings us the tab and it’s almost $100. We look at the itemized portion and noticed that nothing had been rang up as advertised on the happy hour menu. Every item was at least double the price as advertised. When we questioned the waiter about this, his response was “We haven’t don’t that in like a month”. So why not tell us??! Instead we wait to find out after we ordered/consumed the food and nothing can be done about it. The tab should’ve been around $45-$50 pre tip so we ended up paying nearly double what we had expected/having to tip on top of it since they apply an automatic 20% gratuity to every tab. We didn’t want to cause an issue so we opted to leave without speaking to management and thought to call the next day and get some clarity. When we tried calling, it said to click a number to talk to a team member which we did and it automatically said no team member was available less than 2 seconds after clicking it. Didn’t even ring once. The next action was to go to their website to find an email and reach out about our experience since we could not get ahold of anyone over the phone. It’s been a little over a week and I’ve year to hear back after emailing them and probably never will. I definitely don’t like complaining on reviews like this but I don’t love the idea of advertising a happy hour online and in the restaurant then informing the patron that it’s not a thing anymore until after you’ve consumed it all. I noticed another lady had left a review about the exact same thing 2 weeks prior to us being there so I’m not sure if they know about it and won’t change it or what’s going on.
