Operated out of a UHaul truck. We had nachos, it was raining, and they just set up all the food outside in the rain with no tents or anything. By the time I got through the line the chips were wet and falling apart. The jalapeño ranch was separating from the amount of water in it. They ran out of chips for the nachos about halfway through our group, so the rest of us had to just eat the toppings. We also got snack boxes from them, specifically asking for no nuts because of allergies within our group. Unfortunately nearly every snack box had nuts in them. Hopefully we won’t have to use the EpiPen. Not swag at all

Highland Park Kitchen catered our food for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing!! All of our guests told us they LOVED the food and all of the servers were so helpful and nice. Christy was so easy to work with and very sweet! Highly recommend them!!

Old fashioned soda and ice cream counter. The owner is usually there, and loves to talk about the history of the shop when asked. I had the pimento cheese sandwich and a lemonade. Really good!

Highland Park Kitchen catered my baby shower and made it a beautiful and delicious affair! Guests were all raving (and fighting over) the food! I was lucky to get the last Apricot Brie Wonton, but probably only because I was the guest of honor

Parking is tough in this area around lunchtime.

Century old gem! Great prices and even better milkshakes. Fun to take a step back in time to an authentic soda-fountain.

For a little taste of nostalgia, grab a stool at this old-school pharmacy's soda fountain and order a chocolate malt and grilled cheese (or an orange sherbet freeze and tuna salad). [Eater 38 Member]
