Momma an I ate there on yesterday 11/21/2025, where I witness an employee who had returned back from outside chatting with customer went right to work without washing his hand and then him and other employee was hundled up in a group they then past one of the other guy cell phone back and forward across containimating with the guy who returned back to his work station without washing his hands he worked the deep fry area in the front,and that same guy then took his apron and cleaned his nose,we ordered 2 whole catfish basket the fries and hush puppies was very greasy I started to ask for a refund but I didn't know how long it would have taken to be refunded my money back and that there was no seasoning when I asked for seasoned food,the unseasoned food is not my main concern it was the employee who returned to work without washing his hand after been in contact with other customers and cross contamination with his coworker passing the cell phone back an forward, cause my mother and I to have an upset stomach, please instruct your employee to wash there hands when coming in contact with other customers and changing there gloves on a regular when leaving one work station into another are coming in contact with outside customers,Thank you in advance

This is your place if you like fried food that doesn't taste fried or greasy, service that's polite, prompt, and friendly, atmosphere that's quaint and clean with abundant, fresh condiments. Can't forget a reasonably priced beverage. This was my first time here, and I will heartily refer others, it is obvious that the people running this place know their business!!!!! Thank you!

We found this place a few months ago, and have been coming back at least twice a week ever since. Food is perfect every time, fresh, and consistent. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. Staff is friendly, the outdoor seating allows you to enjoy the beautiful Dallas weather. If you’re ever close, you have to get the catfish and hush puppies.

My old man has been coming here for 25 plus years! I myself 18. We love it. Even though seafood is me least favorite food, I still love it. The people the vibe is just relaxing. I usually get catfish but today I had their hamburger! It was really good. Side of okra. Yum. My husband had what he always gets Crab legs shrimp potatoes and corn.
The staff are the best!

Service and atmosphere as well as location are overall great. However, I’ve tried three visits just to be sure … and it’s a regular thing that they serve catfish that comes out like a sheet of paper. It like they take a fillet and slice it even more to make perhaps four slices… the texture is that of a potato chip, so it’s crispy - which isn’t totally bad- it’s just that if you want catfish and not a lays potato chip, this might not be your spot. The hush puppies are the absolute best! Hands down.
