Honestly the food and service were great. HH is so consistent. The only disappointment was the email I received 2 days prior that we should be in and out in 90 minutes for the 'convenience of the other guests! Makes me think twice about dinning with you all again sorry to say. I hadn't seen my friends in a while and we could have sat there all night, but we didn't b/c we knew you all were watching us.... No shortage of good food here in DFW......
Great restaurant with great food and service, but very loud! Music was loud and hard services make it difficult to have a conversation
Waitress was fantastic. I was a little surprised when she took my empty coffee cup away instead of asking if I wanted a refill. Do you not have coffee refills anymore? Food was very good, but we both got the breakfast Benedict's - the potatoes were hot but the Benedict's/hollandaise sauce were cold. We thought that was odd. We still ate it, and didn't say anything. But would have preferred warm or hot eggs. Otherwise, all good. Would probably not go back to this location.
Everything was outstanding ...only negative was the loud group of young professionals on the porch made it hard for us to have a nice conversation..Young girls high pitched scretching and cursing at times...was not pleasant at all...wish the waiters would have asked them to tone it down.
Hudson House Addison continues to impress! I went with the Greek Salad — vibrant, crisp, and beautifully balanced with fresh ingredients and just the right touch of tang. I was tempted by the cheeseburger and truffle fries (always a classic), but this time the salad completely stole the spotlight. The presentation was stunning, the flavors clean and bright, and the service matched the upscale yet relaxed vibe that Hudson House is known for. A perfect spot for a refined lunch that still feels approachable
The food was delicious. Our server was knowledgeable about gluten-free accommodations, and she assisted us as we made decisions. They didn't have a gluten-free dessert option, though. The noise level was a little too much. It was hard to have a conversation without feeling like we were yelling at each other across the table.
They completely forgot about the birthday request for my friend. Ruined the entire birthday.
Christopher worked very hard to ensure we had a good visit- food was good. Daughter enjoyed the oysters.
Way too noisy and way too cold to enjoy a meal. Food is good but not as good as other Hudson Houses. Service was poor- had to ask 2-3 times for items. None of that would be an issue if we were not freezing and having to scream over a crowd
This is a good vibe. Lots of raw oyster choices if you like oysters. Our server was great. It's a little loud inside. We sat outside in the cute covered patio in July and it wasn't too bad. Food was good, would go back! You can't make a reservation for 5 on OpenTable at this location so you have to call and add a person. Great place with good wine selection and reasonably priced.

I've only gone to Hudson house one other time and it was a different location, although I feel like the service was so different between them. We had another server greet us, which was no problem at all. What I thought was intresting, was that I feel as though our server was just not having a good day, or rather she didn't want to be there. At the other location, the manager table touched us, and our server was knowledgeable and attentive. I will give it to this server though, my water glass was rarely empty. I would come back, but would want better vibes next time.
Went during happy hour. They give you a 90 minute max, which I find unnecessary if people are still spending money on food and drinks. Took about 15-20 minutes to get our first drink, which seemed excessive, but the service was good after that initial delay. Oysters area always excellent although the happy hour pricing is not nearly as good as it used to be.
Alex was our server and he was excellent. So nice, personable, attentive and efficient. The air condition by our booth was blowing really hard which made it freezing.
Everything was FABULOUS! The service, food and drinks too. My Moscow Mule was way too lemony for me and the server gladly exchanged it for something else. We will definitely be back.
Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience. However, we did have some concerns: 1) We were running about 5-10 minutes late, but there wasn't a way to let the restaurant know, as no one answered the phone after multiple attempts; 2) The main oyster/shrimp platter was unavailable due to an earlier shortage of shrimp, but our waitress neglected to tell us this until we ordered it; 3) The person who opened our champagne did not seem trained, as she opened the bottle pointing straight up, and champagne naturally spewed out the top and onto the floor, with her commenting “someone must've shook this” and told us she would get us another bottle. A manager came by, telling us that rather than replacing this bottle that he would comp us about $20 (on a $75 bottle), which seemed fair (despite the loss of half a glass on the floor). Then, the other person poured a taste into my glass, which was much more than a taste, without tilting it to the side. Naturally, I had to wait for the bubbly head to dissipate; and 4) If restaurants like this choose to use Open Table, and on this platform they ask about special circumstances, like a birthday, then I think this information should be used by the restaurant. During our dinner, there was no mention or special accommodation for my wife's birthday. Disappointing, as I had let them know this was her special day.
