Not a native Texan but do y’all slaughter the cows before cooking the food? Literally took 40+ minutes for my partner and I’s food to come out, and it was incorrect. I watched people who ordered after me who definitely don’t look like me be taken care of promptly. Perhaps the staff was low, moral, who knows shit happens but take this review as a sign to make changes so it doesn’t again. I love you for free.

Hunky’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers in Bishop Arts served strong food on my visit. I went on Sunday with my girlfriend. We ordered the Texas cheeseburger, chili fries, a strawberry shake, and a diet coke. The burger held solid flavor and stayed juicy. The chili fries brought good heat and texture. The shake tasted fresh and balanced. The retro vibe added to the experience. The front desk guy felt short with us, and it seemed like he had a rough day. The meal still delivered real value. Five stars for the food and the setting.
