This place is a gem and the Tokyo Modern Shoyu Ramen is one of my favorite bowls of ramen I have ever had and I strongly recommend it. I had the Gyutan Tataki for an appetizer and that was delicious as well.

I was really pleased with my experience here. The staff was very warm and friendly.
I tried the Special Spicy Miso and really enjoyed the flavor of the broth and pork belly.
My only critique is I like my noodles a little more cooked so I’ll request that next time.
Otherwise, I have no complaints! The food and portion is good, the service is great. I’ll be back. 😊

amazing! although we weren’t looking for a new ramen spot because our usual one was solid (hint: in lower greenville) ichigoh knocks it out of the park! a great atmosphere, delicious food, and good service. the parking lot directly in front makes it easy to access. highly recommend the tokyo modern shoyu ramen bowl. my only gripe is that the service is a little slow, so i’d come with a good time block for your meal. 2nd visit will be soon!

Ichigoh is a gem in Deep Ellum. Offering delicious ramen in a cozy unassuming spot you'll have a good meal and a good time here. Set aside a little time for a visit here and you'll be rewarded. I had the spicy miso ramen and it was perfectly balanced. Will definitely come back and will recommend this spot to many others. Visit!

Blueberry Eggplant was amazing. They accidentally served me spicy Veggie Shoyu Ramen, which was delicious. (No issues there...aside from some mild confusion of what could constitute spicy.)
Husband loved the special spicy, though he was disappointed he forgot to add an egg.
Behind a nondescript black door is a flavorful experience of well developed broths and polite service. Everything we tried was delicious, hubbies vegetarian ramen one of the best. This is a must try for authentic Japanese ramen.

The entrance is easy to miss, there is no main street visible sign, just an unassuming wood door. I love the humble cozy vibes, and the food and attentive wait staff really deliver on a unique dining experience that will stand out amongst a sea of ramen shops.
Each of the appetizers is distinct and well worth having, highlights include the tako wasabi, and the gyutan tataki.
I had a hankering for more of a rich tonkatsu style broth, but the ones they offer here are done very well.

First of all, the soup of this ramen is overwhelmingly amazing. The rich umami flavor spreads throughout your mouth, and although it's creamy, it's not overpowering, and it feels like you're being enveloped in waves of umami. The noodles have a firm texture, and the soup creates a perfect balance. The chashu topping is also soft, and the fat melts into the soup, giving it even more depth. The boiled eggs are perfectly half-cooked, and each bite fills me with a sense of happiness. The aroma, taste, and texture all came together to create a truly satisfying cup.
