A New Dallas Favorite—Delicious Soul Food for Everyone!
This restaurant is an absolute gem!
The food is truly outstanding. We had:
* A Jackfruit BBQ Loaded Baked Potato
* The Soul Food Plate (with perfectly seasoned collard greens, creamy mac and cheese, savory yams, and phenomenal fried oyster mushrooms)
* my Kid's Plate (nachos, fries, and collard greens, all approved!)
The fried oyster mushrooms were crispy, meaty, and satisfying—a perfect replacement for fried chicken. The collard greens were tender and flavorful, even winning over my picky eater.
This is NOT just a place for vegans. Non-vegans would be shocked at how delicious and comforting this food is. Seriously, if you're looking for great soul food, this is the place.
Finally, the banana pudding was hands-down the best vegan banana pudding we have ever had. Rich, creamy, and authentic.
If you're in Dallas, this restaurant is a must-try. We will absolutely be back!

I didn’t even make it to the restaurant to try the food and thank God for that. I called in to place a to-go order, and the person answering the phone put me on hold. I assumed they were transferring me to the restaurant section since it’s inside a grocery store, but instead, they left me on hold for over 15 minutes.
I hung up and called back, finally getting the owner. He explained that if the line rings too long, it automatically transfers to his cell. He advised me to hang up and try again. So I did. But the same lady answered, and when I told her she had put me on hold without transferring my call, she laughed under her breath and said she could “take the order now.”
I’m grown, I don’t have time to play patty-cake with people. Instead of snapping and cursing her out, I just hung up and took my business to another vegan spot that’s 10 times better. I’ve been there before; it’s a bit of a drive from where I live, but it’s worth it.

The walnut meat on the nachos was good but the cheese was so runny it made everything soggy. Flavor was ok. Good service! Might try one more thing.

We got the vegan philly with fries, $23 each. Sandwich lacked flavor other than onions, peppers & oil. Fries were fantastic. Will not be returning.
First time trying and the food and ice cream is amazing. I had the soul food plate. My meat was the blue oyster shrimp, and you won't be disappointed. Owner is very nice and personable . Don't leave without trying the vegan ice-cream. My favorites are Biscoff and Banana pudding. Atmosphere got a 4 only because it's inside of Ann's Health Food Market, but it's the perfect place to get all of your health needs for the mind, body and soul. A one stop shop.

Yes, inside the market! Delicious flavor, not overly seasoned or salty. Cool, friendly and helpful staff. Got a free sample of Italian ice cream and one of their teas while we waited for our plates. And took only a few minutes to get our food. Definitely saving this spot! And V they have spring water available per cup!
