Ask for Desmond. He was the best waiter I’ve probably ever had.

I have never been more impressed with a steakhouse as I am with III Forks. We ate and hosted an event here. The team that served us was amazing.

Tony- he leads the team of amazing people. He is personable, friendly, informative, helpful, and most of all just a joy to speak with

Bryce- although new, helpful and sweet.

Lawrence- what a guy, covering two rooms and doing anything needed.

Francisco - I didn't get to talk with him much, but each one of them was a credit to the team.

Our event was on time, hosted beautifully and just nice to everyone.

The food was incredible. The atmosphere is lovely.

Thank you to the team and a big shout out to Tony for taking care of everything.

My family and I are long time patrons of III Forks. This was my grandparents favorite steakhouse for family gatherings and celebrations.

When they closed the DNT and Frankford location we made the trek up to the new Frisco location as loyal customers tend to do.

In memory of my grandparents, we have Christmas Eve dinner at III Forks every year. Last Christmas (2025) was the worst experience I've ever had at III Forks and it all stems from them seating a party of 20+, right next to us, in a cramped room that really couldn't handle that many people.

A party that large should have footed the bill for a private room instead of converting 5 tables into a banquet sized table. They were SO loud. So loud, that when they finally left halfway through our dinner, my ears were ringing from adjusting to the silence left in their wake. My uncle, who happened to be with us this year, wears hearing aids. We couldn't have a conversation with him until the party of 20+ left.

It was very rude of III Forks to cram these folks into a room with other patrons.

I might be able to overlook the loud and rude party if it hadn't affected service to our table, but it did. On top of letting these folks be as loud as possible, III Forks then let them order all of the baked potatoes. We were told it would be another hour before more were ready. Ok - we order other sides. These sides come out about 20 minutes after we got our steaks. We're pretty much done with our steaks, after eating them super slow, when our waiter shows up with sad looking portions of mashed potatoes and creamed corn that you can tell the kitchen pushed out too quickly because they allowed the party of 20+ to order all of the sides they prepared for that hour.

This experience was the worst I've had there and let's be real: the quality of their cuts hasn't been good since they left DNT and Frankford. I only order the filet mignon when I go now because it's the only cut that won't be packed with fat and sinew even though my go to cut is the ribeye. I simply can't order it anymore at III Forks because it was always disappointing when I did order it.

I'll be asking my Dad if we can celebrate Christmas Eve at a different restaurant this year. At this rate, picking up some cuts from Whole Foods, and cooking them ourselves at home would be a better experience than III Forks last year, and it might be what we end up doing. At least this way we'll get our sides at the same time as our steaks and not have to yell to hear each other from less than a foot away.

Also whoever does the bread now is terrible. My Dad complains that it's nowhere near as good as it was when they were at DNT and Frankford. The funny part is that III Forks knows it and apologizes for it instead of finding a new solution.

This would be a five-star experience if my steak had been prepared to my specifications.

Details matter, especially first impressions. Having arrived for a reserved 4:30pm dinner seating, I was surprised to see roughly seven other couples crowding the inside entrance waiting to be seated. The delay between arriving and seating is typically minimal with other steakhouses in the area, so this was a first. We waited 10 minutes before being seated. When taken to our table, I requested a booth so I could sit next to my wife. We were denied and told the number of expected guests prevented it... even though every booth was unoccupied -- as was most of the restaurant -- at the time of our sitting. Being rebuffed by the hostess so early in our experience was disheartening.

After being seated, the vibe of the Waitstaff ran completely counter to our hostess -- friendly, engaging, and considerate. Spirits were exceptional. The complimentary pre-dinner bread was adequate but unexceptional. The tomahawk steak was a letdown. Cooked medium, half of the steak was juicy while the other was oddly dry. Any steak should be delicious on its own without sauces or toppings. Sadly this was not. The side of mash potatoes were fantastic.

Overall, it was a mixed experience. Waitstaff was uniformly excellent however the lack of consideration from the front-of-house hostess was grossly disappointing. It's also worth noting that at the time we left, empty booths were still available. The drinks and sides were great however the star of the show, the steak, was unimpressive.

Overall, there are numerous high quality steakhouses in the area that provide greater overall service and food quality than here. A return visit is unlikely.

The service at this location was very subpar. We booked a reservation for 7, and once we arrived it took well over 30 minutes to be sat. It appeared that they double-sat tables to avoid losing profit from last minute cancellations. The manager did offer something to make up for the wait, but the service didn’t improve with our waiter. He wasn’t very attentive and we felt rushed. Also, the waiter assistants lacked basic manners, such as saying, “pardon my reach” when pouring water, and one even tried to hand us lemons using her bare hands. It was kind of shocking for a fine dining establishment. Food was okay. Nothing special.

Our server Emma was charming and attentive to our every need. The lobster bisque tasted great, but the meat was chewy, which I was not expecting. The red fish was amazing, a thick filet that was cooked perfectly, both tender and glistening. The filet required three tries to get a medium rare. We spent well over 150$ for each person.

It was abundantly clear that our decision to dine at III Forks for our 25th wedding anniversary was justified. Kudos to Tony and Lawrence for their attentive and professional service, which made our special night so memorable. Their nuanced recommendations were spot on: the crab cake appetizer, the medium-rare Wagyu filet, and a medium boneless ribeye. To say we had an out-of-body experience biting into the buttery, melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu, is understated. Last, we really appreciated the card we received at the end of our marvelous experience, which was signed by all the staff, THANK YOU!

Still my favorite steak restaurant in DFW after many years! While I liked the older location off the DNT (iconic 3 story building), the current location in Frisco is so close to everything happening in North Dallas. Aside from being pricey (expected for this caliber restaurant), everything was top notch! Valet was kind (we closed the place out, but my car was right up front), both Brandon servers helping us were attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, and the food was second to none. Definitely on my revisit lists ever quarter for date night!

Food is consistently excellent. Stopped serving the pickles which was a unique and yummy experience, bring them back. Service is usually excellent but this time the waiter was a jerk and the food took way too long to be served but as always it was amazing.

Lana I see your request below. If you have sometime to say you can say it here.

It was meh. They fixed my steak when it came out med-rare instead of medium. But the steak was still just ok. For $56+ there wasn’t anything noticeably different or of superior quality. I’ve had better at TGI Fridays.

Drinks food ambience all delightful!! Perfect Martinis!! Made our birthday celebration feel special with a card from the staff as well as a special dessert platter. As always our server Diego Salazar treated us like royalty. Thank you...will definitely be returning many times in the future!!

This place used to be great. Today, not so much. The people were nice, when you could get their attention. The food was disappointing. There are so many great steak places on the Dallas area, but not this one. The lobster Mac and cheese had no flavor and the steaks seemed sub standard. The salads and calamari were good. Even my 5 year old grands said his Mac and cheese was yucky.
