I have been eating here for years and the food doesn't disappoint. I still think it's one of the best places to get Indian food in the Dallas area. This is Indian comfort food. I can't really comment on the heat of the food because I'm not really into that. If you like the flavor and you want it mild they understand. Chicken tikka masala which is our favorite is creamy and savory as it should be. Spinach paneer for example is also a perfect dish. Not everyone likes the same type of Indian food. I've tried a lot of different Indian places, and this is at the top of the list.

Absolutely amazing food — truly tasted like homemade cooking. We ordered chaat papdi chaat, chole bhature, and aloo paratha, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. You can really taste the care and authenticity in the food. It reminded us of home-style meals, not restaurant food. We drove over 10 miles just to come here, and it was 100% worth it. Highly recommend — we will definitely be back.

Inaccurate wait time was given. I was told my order would be ready in 3 minutes, but it seems like they are starting it from scratch.

I love this place. My sister and I have been coming here together for 13 years and I've made my way through quite a bit of their menu including:

Chicken tikka masala
Vindaloo (various protein/veg)
Aloo matar
Keema matar
Vegetable korma
Tarka daal
Butter chicken
Garlic chicken
Saag paneer
Stuffed naan
Chicken wrap
Desi chicken pizza

I have no complaints. In fact, l've enjoyed the vindaloo, aloo matar, keema matar, and vegetable korma so much that they inspired me to try making them myself at home. I still haven't nailed the vindaloo (one of these days, dang it!), but l've got the other ones.

Service is quick and friendly. Prices are very fair for what you get and they always have great specials on the board.

Thank you for all the wonderful meals, India Chaat.

I’ve been a customer of this place for years, and my experiences have consistently been exceptional. The food is delicious, and the service is very good and consistent. Always recommend this place to my friends and family. I feel Saag paneer at this place is the best in Dallas and my all time favorites

I had one of the specials this evening. We were in a group. I think they forgot mine, which means that all my dining partners were well into their food before mine got to me, even though I was not the last one order. The good news is the food was really good and I am happy to say that they finally decided to give me a full credit due to the lateness. I only requested half. That's what good management does.

Love, love, love everything about this place. The food is incredible. The service is always great. We’ve tried multiple things on the menu and they’ve all been fantastic. My go-to is Butter Chicken (the dinner portion) and a Mango Lassi for dessert;) 10000/10 recommend!

We ordered samosa chat, we were really disappointed as the name of the place is CHAAT CAFE, it tasted more like samosa curry.

I had an incredible experience at this Indian restaurant. The moment I walked in, the place smelled amazing—rich spices, fresh naan, everything you’d want. The staff was super friendly and helped me pick a few dishes since it was my first time there.

The food itself was insanely good. The butter chicken was creamy and flavorful, the tikka had a perfect smoky char, and the garlic naan was soft with just the right amount of crisp. Everything came out hot and fresh. Portion sizes were generous too, so you definitely get your money’s worth.

The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, not too loud, and perfect for either a casual meal or a nicer dinner. You can tell they care about quality and presentation.

Overall, this is easily one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried. If you’re looking for bold flavors, great service, and a really satisfying meal, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

India Chaat Cafe is one of those spots you go to when you just want something flavorful and comforting. The chaat tastes fresh, the spices are on point, and the food comes out pretty fast. It’s a simple, laid-back place, but the flavors definitely make it worth stopping by.
