I had lunch at Jack's Kitchen last Tuesday. Oh my goodness!! They have the BEST SOUTHERN DISHES in Dallas!! I could not walk away without trying the homemade cheese buttermilk pie, made by Sandy, the owner's sister. It was to die for!! So worthy of an award!!

Terrible service. The restaurant was understaffed. I had a 7:30 reservation. We arrived, and the hostess told us that we would have to wait for a half-hour to be seated. Their excuse was, "we've had a lot of walk-ins." Not worth the trouble, there are too many other great dining options in Dallas. Not worth a visit.

I ordered for lunch. Got the Fried Chicken Biscuit Sandwich. Looked like it was going to be amazing, but there was NO flavor...the chicken and biscuit were both flavorless. Giving two stars because at least the fries were good.

This was a great experience the staff was very friendly and the food is fantastic we started with the Cinnamon & Sugar Doscuits then split the Hot Texas Brown the location is small, but they get you in quickly. A new favorite brunch place.

Another stellar brunch at Jack's Kitchen. The food alone is enough to get you in the door. But if you also add that this is BYOB and you can basically have your own brunch party, then it's a no-brainer. Ask for Laurel. She's not only attentive, but she's super funny, too. We are looking forward to planning a dinner evening here with friends soon. Can hardly wait.

We went for brunch on a Sunday. Very cute place, though service was a little...like a diner. But everyone was very nice and the food was amazing. I had serious food jealousy of my husbands biscuits and gravy, though the brisket sweet potato hash I had was still delish. They serve free mimosas that seemed 80% OJ (I like mine to be maybe 5%), but they're free. You can also BYOB, which we did and it made the perfect brunch spot. Going back soon to try the blueberry biscuits!!

I'm so glad I finally tried this place. The food was awesome & so cute! Definitely a hidden gem! Can't wait to try brunch. Must get the sausage balls, smoked chicken risotto & beef stroganoff. Yummy

Went in for brunch. Good food and service. Like that it is local source. Deco was minimal, but that's ok. Will go back again.

Very disappointed, have been looking forward to this for a long time. Dishes taste alright, but they are large and they could be snaller servings and have a house salad or some type of vegetable with them. Deserts were very good. Service was spotty as well, filled my water glass but not my wifes, picked up half the appetizer plates but left the rest. Small stuff but it adds up.

I came here a couple of weeks ago for Sunday brunch. I brought a bottle of champagne and was very pleased to see them bring out a bucket of ice for that period the service was outstanding and so was the food. I will be back again and again.

Went there for lunch and ordered the Texas Caesar salad, fried chicken biscuit sandwich and my friend ordered the grilled salmon salad. Both salads were way overdressed to the point that the lettuce was soggy. The fried chicken sandwich wasn't half bad but the meat portion on it wasn't large. For me, you should get a large amount of chicken on a chicken biscuit. The decor and service were friendly enough and inviting enough but the food was pretty average and a tad pricey.
