Jamaica Mi Hungry Reviews
My husband and I have been looking for some good jerk chicken since we relocated to the area. I saw the sign for Jamaica Mi Hungry while driving down the highway and we were glad we stopped. We ordered a jerk chicken and oxtails dinner. Both were great. The only thing I was missing was my coco bread but we will definitely be back. Everything was delicious!
I had the best curry goat in the DFW today and I will defintely recommend and come back.
I have been trying to eat here the first time I was told they weren’t open yet and I would have to phone ahead for Rasta pasta the second time I called on a Friday for the Rasta pasta I was rudely told they don’t accept phone orders very unprofessional and I would love to try

Jamaica Mi Hungry is a restaurant that offers delicious Jamaican food with a cozy and casual atmosphere. The jerk chicken and curry chicken are standouts, cooked to perfection with ample sauce and seasoning. Sides such as candied yams, cabbage, and rice and peas are also highly praised for their flavor and comforting quality. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the portions are generous. This spot is perfect for those seeking homemade-tasting Jamaican cuisine that is ready to eat. The food is delicious, savory with deep flavors, and well-seasoned meats and vegetables and beans and rice. Customers recommend the Curry Chicken and Potatoes, the Stewed chicken, the beef patties, and the Mac and cheese. The oxtail and jerk chicken are also highly recommended. Sides pair well with any protein, or there's an option of a veggie plate. The curry goat with rice and the jerk chicken with cabbage and black eyed peas are favorites, as are the rice and peas with a sweet hint of coconut. The customer service is very good and they are very organized. The restaurant is directly across from Pilot truck stop, but there is no truck parking, so customers should park at Pilot and walk safely across the street. They tend to never open on time.
