We enjoyed our cookies from JD’s Chippery! They have a nice variety of cookies and we were pleased with all of them. My main complaint is that their hours are very narrow. I would come back here more if it was open more when I was free!

Me and my wife were looking for a sweet treat after dinner, and after passing by this place and reading reviews, I wanted to give this place a try! But sadly I was disappointed. The cookies didn’t even taste like cookies, they tasted bland and weren’t even sweet. It was more like a healthy cookie, wouldn't recommend and wouldn’t try again. But it’s cool to try new places. Insomnia will probably be my go to for a sweet treat!

The cookies are undeniably great—fresh, delicious, and worth the hype. However, the service is a major letdown. It’s disappointing to see such consistent rudeness from the staff. No matter how good the cookies are, customer service matters, and the way customers are treated here is unacceptable.
JD’s Chippery, don’t let cookie quality be your only selling point—respectful and friendly service should go hand-in-hand with your product. Sad to write this, but this issue has been consistent over multiple visits.

My favourite cookie place in Dallas but the customer service is not always the best. I was mid sentence talking to someone about placing an order this morning and the lady just walked away. When I tried to get her attention again she looked so annoyed.

Had a sweet tooth looked to my right there you were...parking g almost made me say forget it BUT traveling one i parked walked too far got 6 cookies for my trouble and ate 2 on the way home..... Semi sweet really good missing a lil brown sugar for me Confetti was amazing if I ever happen to be in the area and want something sweet I will be back

I’m extremely picky with cookies. JD’s are easily the best cookies I’ve had. They are reasonably priced, and the perfect amount of softness without being doughy. Their buttercream tastes amazing, not oily or artificial.
For those unfamiliar with the area or visiting, the one con / warning I will share (not the shop’s fault) is the chaotic parking due to their location on a corner. Unfortunately, being in an extremely affluent area, I’ve witnessed several customers exacerbating the problem like they own the place…entitled and lacking situational awareness…for example, not pulling all the way forward to allow another car to park in front of exit, customers lingering either around the shop or sitting in their car eating the cookies while taking up 1 of only 2 spots. A little courtesy for the other customers by coming in, completing your purchase & then immediately pulling out would be nice. Again, not the shop’s fault but something to be aware of!

First I want to say, these are the best cookies in Dallas and I love this is family owned. We have been coming here for years but what happened today, was not acceptable and it actually wasn’t to me. I came in to order a dozen cookies and some had to finish baking, about 10 min or so, no problem at all! I just switched my order to ones they had. The woman behind me only wanted the flavor of the ones they were baking. She was very polite and just simply said, “ok, I’ll come back in a few”. Also no problem. As they were wrapping up my order, the woman helping me was lovely, but another woman working there with short hair and glasses proceeded to mock the woman who left, mimicking her voice and her outfit, right in front of me and other customers. I didn’t say anything, but I found this to be super unprofessional. Nothing the woman did who was waiting on the cookies was rude or mean in any way. Cookies have to bake, she’ll come back. Seems simple. I just was very taken aback that an employee would do that in front of others
