French toast was good. Should have gotten the crunchy French toast. Overall it was average.
The food is always great. We've been eating here for a while and the wait staff is always courteous. I had the migas and my wife had the breakfast tacos, and we shared the churro pancakes, which were delicious!!
Great food and service!
I just had the worst burger. It was obviously a frozen patty that was overcooked and hard. The bun was alo had feom being overly toasted. Won't be getting that again for sure.
Very nice place, food is excellent, friendly staff
Food was soo good! Chiles rellenos were bomb, along with the chilaquiles. The food tasted home-y. The restaurant can use some updates to make the ambiance better, some light music but everything else was great 😋
Staff very friendly and good prices
I tried this place for the first time the other day, the service was a little slow, One Lady who didn’t look like a waitress took my order, then it was delivered by some other guy who did look like a waiter, he dropped the food and left. Took me a while to find someone who could get me more coffee, they brought no water to the table I had to ask for, so we’re really didn’t have an assigned waiter, we had to ask for things to any random person who works there and they sound facilÃtate.
Food presentation was OK but nothing special.
Food taste was below average to me, nothing special. Room ambience very uninviting.
The food was very tasty.
Ordered pancakes, a breakfast plate with cactus & Huevos divorciados. Taste overall was good and presentation as well. Service was fast & the gentleman was very friendly.
I'm a regular at JJ's. I found them during Covid and frequent the restaurants and usually take someone with me. The food is good. The portions are ample. The staff is friendly and I love that they recognize me. Their prices are such that you can feed your family and not have to spend a great amount of money. I've tried many dishes, but my favorite are the chilaquiles verde mixed with a little rojo sauce.
Restaurantji Recommends
Ehhh.. mediocre at best.. forgettable. Very bland food, very bland atmosphere, no music, just a dry place. Everyone working there, looks scared, still waiting on my butter and syrup for my French toast. Thumbs down.
Chilaquiles verdes ! 🤤delicious!!
Delicious breakfast we ordered enough food for 6 people (we were a party of 4) and we still paid just barely over $100. The chicken and waffles were amazing with fantastic visual representation and the catfish ( as a licensed cat fish hater) was seasoned to perfection without being overwhelming im flavor. Overall all 5/5 highly recommend. My BIGGEST ISSUE was simply the butter was served too cold to melt easily while trying to spread across our waffles. LOL
We enjoyed our breakfast. Service was slow and disjointed in a restaurant that wasn’t especially busy. The venue was weird. It felt like a bingo hall.
The desserts are very delicious, I ordered a belgian waffle along with the tres leches pancake. I bit down on my pancake and nearly swallowed an aluminum bristle. Please be careful when cooking your food.
