The service wasn’t great. My daughter and I do not speak Spanish and when I stated that SEVERAL times to three different staff members, we were treated less than. The waitress didn’t care to check on us or refill our drinks. We were made to feel like an inconvenience to say the least. The food was good though.

Honestly, some of the worst cafe food I have ever had. I ordered the super chilaquiles and steak. The steak was a very small portion not to mention dry as hell.
The “chilaquiles” were basically corn chips with green salsa on top. They were hard and just laughable. The green salsa wasn’t bad but over all I just couldn’t take it. I didn’t finish my meal… I paid and left. The server was pretty cool but over all it was very half ass… maybe even quarter ass.

JJ's cafe hits the spot everytime. The food is always amazing. Our server, Jacob, did a phenomenal job.

I’m writing this review because the service in this location lacks professionalism, lacks efficiency. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, and don’t come, aside from the long wait, they should prepare with employees for a high demand. Also, what restaurant does not take “To Go” orders?!

We ordered menudo and chilaquiles with carne asada. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The carne asada was very dry, and the chilaquile sauce was so dried onto the plate that it seemed like it had been sitting for a while. The menudo was served cold, and after we asked for it to be reheated, it came back overly salty and still not enjoyable. On top of that, our waiter never returned to refill our coffee or check on us. Overall, the service and food quality did not meet expectations.

Never again am I coming to eat at this place. Very bad service and atmosphere since the moment we walked through the doors. The food was not as good as I had heard nor was it worth the price. The chicken-fried steak and French fries were awful it seemed like they got it out of the frozen aisle and the French toast was small and sad looking. Everyone had an attitude and seemed like they didn't want to work. Don't come to this place and eat unless you want to have a bad experience with your family and waste your hard-earned money. I give it no stars.

Came in expecting a simple, homestyle breakfast and instead experienced some of the worst service I’ve had in a long time. When I first sat down, I asked for water with no ice. The server brought water with ice, which was fine—mistakes happen. Unfortunately, that’s where the understanding ends and the experience went downhill.
I arrived at 8:04 AM and placed my order at 8:07 AM. By 8:45 AM, I still had not received my food and ultimately got up and left. During that entire time, no one checked on me, gave an update, or acknowledged the delay.
The restaurant was not busy at all—only about 4 tables were occupied out of roughly 35, including mine. I ordered a single entrée and a side of toast. Waiting over 40 minutes for such a simple order, in an almost empty restaurant, is completely unacceptable.
I never even got the chance to try the food due to the lack of service and communication. This place was unwelcoming, poorly managed, and a waste of time. I would not recommend coming here.

Food was horrible! Zero flavor or spice. I had the migas and they put sliced cheese most likely Kraft American cheese. Would not recommend at all! Also had the pancakes. They were decent. Gf had eggs and sausage with their potatoes and she didn’t finish her food either.

I liked that y'all have unique options but are not upscale.
Fair prices and a nice team!
Can't wait to try something else next time.

The Super Chilaquiles were borderline cold. The chicken was cold and way over cooked. The waiter was good and understanding. Got the Huevos Rancheros instead, the salsa rojo was not good. Overall it was slightly better. Way so many options for breakfast in the area no need to ever return.

This was my first time coming here after seeing an ad online mentioning the Garland location. We ended up at this one somehow. Great food and value. It was filling and tasty, we each were very pleased with our breakfast options. Our waiter with the lime green stripe in his hair was very friendly but didn’t offer us coffee until asked, not sure if this is their policy. They definitely don’t skip out on the creamer, we had a huge bowl of it which was nice. Will return!
Dont have time to eat there. I keep calling on different ocassions and staff stats that they dont take call in orders. Even if you go by to place a to go order, they will not take it. YOU HAVE TO EAT THERE!
