I was once a frequent customer. I always get the spicy chicken because it was once always good and spicy.I havent been in a couple months and decided to stop by today. The spicy chicken had absolutely no spice. I’m not sure if there have been formula changes but the gravy was also thin and lacked flavor. I hope this was just an off day because spicy chicken should in fact be spicy as it was before.

Normally they deliver food, but at this time, they outright cancelled an Uber group order for 10 people with no reason why at exactly 9pm.

So why?

Chicken is just amazing with the gravy. The mash and mac and cheese are solid as well. Not sure what some of the negative reviews are about but this is some of the best prepared chicken around. At least when I visited the Greenville location. Give them a try.

My honest thoughts

It was my first time at jolibee and if I had to describe the environment tonight it would be “chaotic”.

The team member that took my order was outgoing and courteous, but clearly anxious and in a hurry despite there being just one person behind me inside. It’s possible this team member was supposed to be off the clock since they informed us of using someone else’s drawer while we waited for help to assist them. I appreciated their effort, especially since no other team member was communicating with customers.

I was chatting with my friend who came with me as we waited five or so minutes until the cashier helping us said loudly from behind the counter “Ma’am!?” and when I looked for them, they were gone. I continued talking to my friend. Then a minute later the cashier said it again a bit louder, “MA’AM!?” The two of us locked eyes which confirmed they were talking to me. I walked up to the counter and there was some confusion happening with me and another guest who was at the counter. the cashier said they were out of ranch to me and I said it’s okay, so I got an extra of the honey mustard. As they put my items in the bag, they were also putting food in another persons bag. I wasn’t sure which was mine, and then when a separate team member came to help, there was no communication between the two team members. They sorted through the food trying to figure out whose was whose as I waited there with the other guest semi awkwardly, semi stressed out-edly. I was there for maybe 3 minutes before eventually a bag was set down with no instructions. I picked it up and the cashier said
“wait!” So I put it down. The bags were swapped once more and I collected the new bag. They immediately apologized and I appreciated that gesture. My order was fulfilled correctly.

As for the food, I have mixed feelings. I don’t think it would be fair to say it was bad since it was pretty split for me. The chicken wings were very fatty but had a little bit of tender meat which I liked. The fries weren’t my cup of tea - they were room temperature and there wasn’t any salt on them. That saddened me since I love me some salty fries. The biscuit was……delicious. my favorite part of the meal! It was crumbly and dense; I was very impressed and surprised to enjoy it as much as I did. The honey mustard was okay, I wish they had ranch but I understand. They offered me ketchup and when I said yes, they forgot to put it in my bag. My lychee tea was an unexpected treat, I just wish they filled my cup up all the way instead of two thirds of the way. I could have asked for help with that, but sensed the stress behind the counter and didn’t want to distract them.

Honestly, I was already having a draining day which is to no fault of jolibee or their employees. but I do feel like more could have been done to make my customer experience in the store less overwhelming. I think more communication and teamwork would make a world of a difference so no one person is doing all the talking in the future.

As much as I want to give the dining room another chance, i have certain sensory sensitives that made this experience just too overwhelming for me. I will however consider giving the the drive through a chance for more of that lychee tea, and a yummy biscuit too <3

Almost $10 for 3 tenders...no sides...no drink. They were smallest tenders I have ever gotten. Cooked to order meant a 6 minute wait. So disappointed. Won't be back.

The food was delicious, and the chicken sandwiches were made to order. I got the Aloha Chicken sandwich and would definitely get it again! It was my first time and will not be my last. I gave the atmosphere only 4 starts because the staff allowed a beggar to come in and harass the customers for free food, albeit being the lunch hours and they were very busy. The freeze was still on the menu but was unavailable.

Caleb, was very energetic, and that's about the best experience. I heard about Jollibee watching @MikeyChen who does food reviews all over the globe. So when I saw Jollibee finally came to Dallas I was so excited. We got spicy and regular, the Mac and cheese, french fries and I wanted the spaghetti. We waited till we got home to find the order was wrong. We had no spaghetti ?, but sticky overcooked rice. The Mac and cheese was gluey, and we had two containers of mystery gravy water. The spicy chicken wasn't really spicy, I liked the crust but both were super greasy. I was disappointed, and plus it was pricey. I guess I will stick with the local chicken joints, because Jollibee didn't leave me too jolly! ☹️

Terrible service, they do not pay attention to the orders, they gave me the wrong and incomplete order, the food is too expensive for that to happen, I had to eat my food cold to return it to them to complete my order

Despite not being very busy, it took almost 20 minutes to get my food, and it was definitely not fresh. I was expecting chrispy chicken, and it was soggy and overly greasy.
