The chicken fried steak was huge and the crust stayed intact upon cutting, a sign the cook knows how to pre-tenderize the meat. The gravy however had way too much sage in it which over powered the taste unfortunately. And whoever thought serving it on top of the eggs and potatoes needs to rethink that one. If my wife hadn't had a plate under her bowl of biscuits and gravy she let me use, I'm not sure how I would have been able to cut it or eat the eggs and potatoes under...
My husband and I were in the area, and as soon as I saw the pictures on Google, I knew we had to try it.
My husband got the burger with ham, egg, and bacon, which was good (he is picky and it was prepared as he requested). I had the peanut butter and jelly waffle with a side of bacon. It was so good! I loved it! The peanut butter was definitely the forefront flavor with the jelly hints.
Service was spot on. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated....
