Ehh. This place is just ok due to its convenient location near the trail, but the quality of food/drink is average. The menu is limited and doesn’t even have the ingredients listed for anything- you have to ask one by one until you find something that sounds good which just made me feel bad for asking what felt like too many questions. The establishment itself is in a modern luxury apartment building which is part of why the prices are pretty high. The cleanliness and customer service was lacking. Parking is subject to availability on the street or in a small side lot.

Nice atmosphere and great service, but the coffee quality wasn't good.I love trying different coffee places and doing coffee tasting. I examine the roast, bean quality, and barista experience. The atmosphere and pictures give off a specialty coffee vibe, but the coffee was way below average.

In the past year, Service had gone down, new hires have attitude & clearly hate their job, rarely have decaf coffee, while charges up by $1 or $2 for a sweetener. Ridiculous.

Excellent place.

Great food and service (top notch, went above and beyond to make sure everything was vegan and to customize the granola pbj a bit). Bit of a bland, sanitized atmosphere but that's par for the course in this sort of complex. Would go back.

Come here quite regularly. The atmosphere is nice. Wifi is good. Seems clean. Couple problems though. They are coooonstnantly running out of stuff. Never have all the ingredients. Last time was the final straw. Asked for four different things on the menu, both drinks and food, and was told either they were out of it or they no longer serve that product....cmon....Every time with this? Figure it out. And the menu is a single piece of paper by the register...cant update that for weeks? Really?? Bagel/egg/avocado sandwich is so absurdly messy that you have to ask if anyone there actually ate it before putting it on the menu. Put so much tea in a serving that it is undrinkable re bitter. Baristas have the universal "I'm a resentful millennial that is legitimately annoyed when customers do annoying things like require me to look up from my phone" type of attitude but...that parts not really unique to this place.

First the good: The filter brew that I had was really nice - a light and sweet Colombian with lots of fruit coming through. I'd come back to try other brews, for sure. The espresso, otoh... sour. And this is where the rating comes from. One of my pet peeves: When the opening staff arrives at, not before, the time the shop is supposed to open. And it's not about the door being unlocked a few minutes after the hour - it's about then having to wait for staff to get everything ready. Can I wait a bit for the coffee to brew? Sure. But I shouldn't have to. So back to the espresso... Instead of being served a shot of espresso that's been dialed in nicely, I get whatever comes out, and mine was under extracted and sour.I'll end on another positive: Other than opening late, the service was great. The barista was super nice. Even as it started to get busier and she was prepping for the day, she was incredibly pleasant and provided everyone with great service.

I can't say enough good things about this charming coffee shop! It's an absolute gem for remote work and relaxation with a few outlets. The wifi and internet here are rock-solid, ensuring a seamless online experience. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, with a very chill and mostly quiet vibe that's perfect for focus and unwinding. The space itself is small, but it's beautifully designed with a minimal and modern aesthetic that I adore. The only downside, and it's a minor one, is that parking can be quite challenging due to limited guest parking for the attached apartment building. Overall, this coffee shop is a real hidden treasure, and I can't wait to return for more great coffee and peaceful moments!

Looking for a different coffee place to try and found this spot! My husband enjoyed the crème brûlée latte, I had a iced honey matcha, both were good, I wouldn’t say outstanding.

Today was my second time visiting Katy Coffee Lab in just two days! I love everything about it. The Lavender Dreams is my favorite, I get it iced. The service is superb and the place is just comfortable to enjoy a cup of joe while working on your laptop. Looks like I found my new favorite weekend spot!
